Global Surgery, 1 of the franchises in the Benelux-France Cluster, is market leader in open and endoscopic surgery. We are a part of J&J Medical Benefra, a Sales & Marketing organization with offices in Amersfoort (NL), Diegem (BE) and Paris (FR). We sell medical devices to hospitals, doctors and medical institutions

The Account Manager is responsible for achieving sales quota and developing a strategic plan for 7 to 20 accounts. He/she represents the entire range of Global Surgery products and services. He/she will be leading the customer account planning cycle ensuring that customers’ needs and expectations are met.

Main areas of responsibility / expected results/objectives of the role
- Establishes productive, professional relationships with the Global Surgery sales and marketing organization
- Coordinates the involvement of all internal stakeholders, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations.
- Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives
- Proactively leads a GS-strategic account planning process to achieve performance objectives, financial

Targets and critical milestones for a one and three-year period.
- Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis.
- Leads solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel.
- Manages contracting, pricing and tendering processes in the assigned accounts

Qualifications


Required:

- Experience in sales and deep understanding of the healthcare market
- Solution oriented
- Strong in data analyses and deriving actionable conclusions
- Proven ability to manage complexity & thrives in uncertain/ambiguous circumstances
- Ability to connect and effectively collaborate across a diverse group of business stakeholders in a highly matrixed environment

Preferred:

- MBA or equivalent
- Knowledge of the current healthcare landscape
- Experience working for a large multi-national company
