To support the Wellness and Prevention data analytics needs as well as oversee data analytics for the Behavioral Sciences group by either conducting statistical analyses on a variety of health and wellness-related topics or overseeing other statisticians doing the same. To provide services ranging from data management and manipulation, outcomes evaluations, execution of clinical trials to the development of complex predictive models and structural equation models. This also includes the development of research protocols, production of written reports and manuscripts as well as presentation of findings to customers, stake holders, or other audiences as needed.
The Statistician will conduct data management and statistical analyses of health-related data; create predictive models and conduct longitudinal analyses; prepare tables for use in publications and reports; provide input on development of methods sections of publications and reports; creation of manuscripts and presentation materials; participate in the development of a strategic research roadmap for W&P; and supervise other statistician(s)

Qualifications
A minimum of a Master’s degree in Psychology, Statistics, or a related science field is required. Experience in statistical analysis in SAS or SPSS is required. Three plus years of experience conducting statistical analyses and advanced statistical modeling is required. Understanding of multivariate statistics including but not limited to predictive modeling methods required. Client facing written and verbal communication skills are required. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills and the ability to understand direction and follow through required. The selected candidate must be able to multi task and work well under pressure and distractions. General knowledge in computer skills in MS Outlook, Word and Excel are required. It is strongly preferred that this position be located in Ann Arbor, MI. It may additionally be located in Ft. Washington, PA or Orlando, FL. Strong consideration will be given to candidates local to or relocatable to Ann Arbor, MI.
