Position Title: Business Process Expert

Location: Sunbury-on-Thames

Position Summary:

- Main point of contact to the business for all systems related changes
- Key member of the ‘order to cash’ (OTC) team owning testing and sign-off for change control.
- Perform a relationship management role in supporting functional heads and the project management group.
- Support Supply Chain related projects where systems support is required
- New Product Introduction/ End of life products implementation
- Provide daily support for Customer Service and Distribution
- Provide Customer Service and Distribution order reconciliation and dashboard metrics
- Attempt to resolve system issues before contacting IT
- Act as main point of contact with IT to log system issues
- Participate in Project teams as Subject Matter Experts on Business Processes
- Support Business Improvement function in performing Business Process improvements
- Help to specify and document required business process enhancements & break fix
- Develop Test Plans for system enhancements & break fix
- Perform User Acceptance Testing for system enhancement & break fix

Main duties and responsibilities:

- Creation and management of system enhancements and break fixes, analysis, defining solutions, testing, implementation and change control.
- Support end users in executing business processes
- Effectively liaise with the WW IT function to ensure day to day processes and projects are delivered
- Manages ownership of requirements, test plan development, Testing, Change Control Board (CCB) for system enhancements & projects
- Ensure alignment of Education & Training material to actual Business Process task & activities
- Participate in functional daily operational meetings (daily warehouse meeting)
- Daily monitoring SAP interfaces to external systems (WebMethods, eCommerce, EOM, SI, EDI)
- Daily reporting of Warehouse performance (daily metrics regarding picking/packing/shipments)
- Participate in Project teams as Subject Matter Experts on Business Processes
- Support Business Improvement function in performing Business Process improvements
- Analyzing of issues in the medium to long term
- Management and resolution of system issues
- Support regional and global system changes.

Qualifications


Key Skills and Competencies required:

Essential skills

- Thorough knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain and Sales applications and principles.
- Very good business knowledge and SAP-skills in SD module
- Understanding SAP to external systems communication (EDI)
- Knowledge of the end-to-end business processes that relate to your SAP ("big picture of enterprise structure")
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. The ability to explain complex system processes in an appropriate way for the intended audience.
- High level of accuracy & attention to detail in a fast moving high volume environment.
- Prioritization and allocation of workload
- Analytical skills , problem solving capacity. Ability to identify an issue from a generic problem
- Advance Excel skills with basic VBA programming
- Access skills
- Software and IT knowledge
- Ability to work with functional and technical IT teams
- Change management skills - A process-driven approach
- Project management skills and implementation methodology
- Experienced in working to deadlines
- Confident communicator at all levels.

Preferred skills

- Experience of high volume , fast turn round business across Europe
- Experience in a medical/related industry
- Process driven
- Experience of reporting using BI.
- Driving things to completion

Technical or Science based education
