Planning Manager ANZ-1407160W
Description
Due to internal movement, an opportunity has become available for an experienced Planning Manager to join the ANZ Supply Chain team.
The Planning Manager, JJM ANZ, provides support to the Regional Operations Development Director for strategic development and implementation of company-wide Supply Chain activities, from the suppliers to the customers. The position will lead the ANZ planning activities with particular focus in the area of Demand & Supply Planning and Inventory Management (including inventory entitlement and consignments) for all J&J Medical Business Units in Australia and New Zealand to ensure adequate and timely supply of products to our customers.
Other key responsibilities will include:
- Develop metrics (KPIs) to set performance targets, monitor progress and initiate improvement plans in the Planning & Inventory Management area
- Provide input on optimising Customer Service Levels, Working Capital and Supply Chain costs
- Where required, co-ordinate closely with Strategic Sourcing and freight companies to ensure the timely arrival of all products to fulfill customer orders
- Proactively collaborate with Regional Planning Team to ensure products arrive on time and provide regular feedback to RPT on product supply lead time performance
- Communicate status of incoming product supply to country sales and marketing management
- Monitor country monthly inventory days for all business units and work with RPT to ensure inventory targets are met
- Work with RPT to reduce excess, slow and obsolete inventory through effective management of non-working inventory
- Conduct effective Sales and Operations planning processes in all business units.
- Work with stakeholders to complete demand planning for new product introductions
- Manage costs within agreed budgets and achieve agreed Working Capital targets
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will possess:

Previous experience in demand planning and supply chain.

Experience leading and motivating a team of professionals to successfully achieve set goals and targets.

Demonstrated ability to work with a wide range of internal & external customers,
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Relevant tertiary qualifications e.g. a degree in Supply Chain Management and post graduate studies in management would be highly regarded.

Any experience cross sector within J&J family of companies would be advantageous.
