Finance at Johnson & Johnson is undergoing significant change, driven by Global Finance Standardization (GFS) and related initiatives throughout the business. The GFS Leadership team, in partnership with the Global Finance organization throughout the Enterprise, is responsible for driving the implementation of standardized financial processes, data, and enabling technologies, as well as the expert operation of a global network of Shared Service Centers and Centers of Excellence.

The General Accounting Senior Financial Analyst will be required to proactively partner with Operating Company finance personnel and the Manila Shared Service Center (MNSSC) to ensure all monthly, quarterly and yearly financial close and forecast responsibilities are completed timely, accurately and in compliance with SOx requirements. The SFA will play a leadership role in the planning and coordination of the close and forecasting activities/calendar for one or several operating companies. He/she will be responsible for the management of several Administration budgets (HR, Finance, Legal, Other) and Misc. OI&E, leading the P&L and Balance Sheet review meetings with NA Shared Service Centers(NASSC), Operating Company and MNSSC teams, and will have responsibility for Corporate financial submissions. In addition, the SFA will identify opportunities to standardize and automate processes, lead or participate in NASSC/Operating Company initiatives, and build a strong working relationship with the Operating Companies supported, NASSC and MNSSC teams. Support ad-hoc projects. May be required to supervise and develop co-ops/ interns.
Qualifications
A minimum of a bachelors degree is required, preferably a major in Accounting or Finance. An MBA, CPA or CMA certificate is preferred. A minimum of 3 years of finance or related business experience is required. Experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device, or consumer product industries is preferred. Candidate must possess excellent analytical, conceptual, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Suite of products (Excel, PowerPoint, etc). SAP experience is also preferred. Candidate must have the ability to work independently, influence decision making, think creatively, challenge the status quo, and work across multiple teams. Individual must work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and be able to recommend and implement process improvements. Individual must also effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously and have the ability to take on leadership roles in various initiatives.
