The Commercial Excellence Department ensures that our sales organization has the right strategic approach to succeed in a changing health care environment. We build up the new capabilities our business needs to win in the future: tender excellence, service selling, strategic pricing and improved sales force effectiveness.
Job description:
The position of the Tender Manager will enable our sales operation to adapt to the rapid changes in public procurement. The chosen candidate will be responsible to build up the tender management capabilities within JnJ Benelux. It is a position of high visibility and influence that need to connect with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. We are looking for a strong talent, able to take the challenge of an exciting role to:
- Develop and lead our tender strategy:
- Define the process of our pre-tender customer interaction
- Create the tool needed in order to advise and support our clients in tendering
- Become the expert in legal matters around tendering
- Train our sales force on strategic tendering
- Set up the internal processes needed to process published tenders:
- Create the internal process from tender detection till tender evaluation
- Coordinate different internal stakeholders and respond to all tenders in a timely and accurate manner
- Deliver indebt post analysis to the commercial team, improving the organization’s tender expertise
- Start to build up the tender team capabilities and coach the tender specialists
Kwalificaties
Education & experience
- Master degree or equivalent from a top tier university
- > 5 years of experience with demonstrated achievements in sales & marketing roles
- Experience in project management is essential, know how in process optimization is a plus
- Experience in the health care environment, preferably in medical devices
- Knowledge of public procurement in the Benelux is preferred
- Tender expertise is a strong advantage
- Trilingual preferred (Dutch, French, English)

- Possesses strong conceptual skills, able to think strategically and deliver excellence in execution at the same time
- Demonstrates strong communication skills and able to train our sales organization in tender strategy
- Has the entrepreneurial spirit to build up the tender approach in the Benelux, can deal with ambiguity and stress
- Able to lead without formal authority
- Be a role model and of credo based leadership
- Build an environment supportive of diverse thinking and perspectives
- Proactively reach out beyond the core organization to obtain best practice and inspiration
