Quality Control Technician I, Materials Handler – 2nd Shift

DePuy Synthes Joint Reconstruction is the Joint Reconstruction business offering orthopaedic devices, solutions and supplies for hip, knee and extremity reconstruction, in addition to cement and operating room products.
The Material Handler I position is responsible for inventory handling and control activities including processing inbound receipts and put-away activities for all direct and indirect material entering the inspection lab. They are also responsible for a variety of picking and delivering production components according to inspector assignments within the lab, picking and staging product for special projects, coordinating bulk inspection to maximize product flow and warehouse space, processing outbound Finished Goods transfers to distribution centers, picking/packing return to vendor product, coordinating internal physical inventories, coordinate domestic and international shipments, performing all associated SAP and JDE transactions required to execute the processes listed above and following all associated SOP's required to execute the processes listed above.
The second shift hours are 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. On occasion, there will be opportunities to work overtime pre-shift offered.
Qualifications
A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required. Strong basic math skills are preferred. A minimum of two years of warehouse and/or supply chain experience in a cGMP controlled environment is required. Ability to stand and work in an open warehouse for extended periods of time is required. Forklift experience is preferred. Working knowledge of SAP and JDE is preferred. The ability to work well in a team environment is required. Demonstrated communications skills are required. Ability to collaborate cross-functionally is required. Qualified candidates must be willing and able to work in Bridgewater, MA. The ability to work pre-shift overtime is preferred.
