W&P is currently searching for a User Interface Engineer Team Lead to join our core software development team. The successful candidate is creative, energetic, self-motivated, and is successful in training / mentoring others. They will join a team that is dedicated to the blending of technology and science to help improve population health.
Qualifications
The following is required:
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree. 5+ years’ experience in developing rich interactive web applications. An expert in JavaScript development with 6+ years’ experience. Strong JavaScript, AJAX, HTML and CSS skills. Must be an expert in these technologies. Proficient in HTML5 and CSS3
Must be a leader capable of providing guidance, instruction, direction and mentoring to more junior team members. Previous people management experience is preferred but not required.
Experienced working with a variety of JavaScript technologies: jQuery, Bootstrap, YEOMAN, jQuery UI, jQuery Mobile, etc. Experience with templates: Handlebars, mustache. Experience with CSS preprocessors. Experience with JavaScript unit testing
The following is preferred:
Adept with web standards and cross-browser development. Experience building Single Page Applications (SPA) and responsive web design(RWD)
