Description
The European, Middle East and Africa Research and Development Center of Johnson & Johnson is looking for a Senior microbiology project leader, for the Microbiology Department.
As a Senior microbiology project leader, you will be in charge of facilitating product development of Support to Marketed Products in link with RD&E members and its key stakeholder (Operation, QA, …) from End to End.
Product categories scope covers mainly Formulated Skin care products and potentially non-formulated products (E.g Tampon, Napkins). Regulatory scope is mainly cosmetic, but contains few topical medical devices and Topical OTC products.
You will provide technical expertise and guidance for execution, for solving complex issues, for scientific rationales.
You will ensure launches are done on time with appropriate flawless execution, projects prioritization.
You will supervise a team of 2 to 3 contractors who will be in charge of providing guidance on preservative selection, and Stability protocol definition to ensure product robustness through shelf life.
Additionally the team will set product specification and suggest appropriate test methods, its validation or proof of suitability protocol.
You will review existing data, literature and newly generated data, to ensure product meets legal and Worldwide Johnson & Johnson standards manage its appropriate documentation and secure its formal approval.
You will also participate to cross functional regional and global team and projects aiming at improving the organization efficiency and the overall product innovation process regionally and at worldwide level.
Limited term contract (18 months).
The position will be located in France (Val-de-Reuil, located between Rouen and Paris). Start ASAP.
Qualifications
The candidate needs at least a master degree in Biology / Microbiology, preferably a PhD, with 5 years of experience in Cosmetic or pharmaceutical industry (Preferred) or food / chemical industry.
You will need to be fluent in English.
Good communication and presentation skills.
Autonomy, rigor, method and good organization.
Good adaptability and flexibility.
Ability to work in team and project mode.
