Position Title: Senior Marketing Manager, Global Pain and Pediatrics Franchise

Location: Maidenhead, Berkshire

Travel: 10% - 20%

Closing Date: 30th June 2014

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Group Brand Director for the Global Pain and Pediatrics Franchise, the Senior Marketing Manager will take an important and innovative leadership role within the organization and will represent all aspects of the Franchise across the region. This role requires an individual able to maintain strong relationships with divisional and functional colleagues and who can provide strategic, solutions-orientated counsel to accelerate the growth of the global pain and pediatric OTC business.

Main duties and responsibilities:

Creates robust global pipeline of meaningful, differentiated and sustainable new products and claims based on compelling consumer insights.

- Lead global project teams with full responsibility for all aspects and delivery of innovation including the commercial proposition.
- Cross-geography sharing of insights, technologies/innovations and identification and innovation platforms.
- Develop and deliver the Global Pain and Pediatrics Franchise strategic plans in coordination and partnership with key stakeholders
- Monitor market dynamics to develop and/or change strategic and tactical marketing plans based on consumer, category and competitive data and insights. Ensure deployment and adoption at a regional and country level.
- Partner with regional franchise to accelerate growth / define entry strategy in select emerging markets whilst balancing driving growth in existing priority markets.
- Champion the definition, creation and utilization of global equities and their foundational tools.
- Creating and aligning brand footprints, brand books and brand guidelines. Leading global packaging development.
- Work with the Global Franchise Leadership Team and lead the Global Innovation Team on Pain and Pediatrics to explore opportunities for improved processes and capabilities.

Education and Experience:

- Candidates must be qualified to at least BA/BSc (Hons) or equivalent, with significant senior marketing experience in a major FMCG company; Experience in local brand marketing (more than one market) and potentially in global franchise roles is also important;
- Strong business acumen and P&L development experience is essential;
- Evidence of significant value creation via innovation business solutions is also key.
