The Senior Financial Analyst, will support R&D organization by developing business plans/updates, measuring performance against targets for departmental and project activities and recommending appropriate courses of actions where necessary. Other duties include project portfolio analysis to ensure health and balance of R&D pipeline; driving improvements that enhance analysis, process efficiencies and ensure that robust financial systems and processes are in place to support R&D objectives including review and approval of all Capital and major spending initiatives. Position also has the responsibility of actively participating and applying business knowledge in support of cost reduction opportunities and project portfolio tradeoffs.
Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelors Degree is required. A Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting or other Business related discipline is preferred. MBA degree is preferred. A minimum of 4 years of experience in financial accounting and analysis is required. Healthcare and/or consumer industry is preferred. Candidate must be customer focused, and able to build strong partnerships with internal customers. Demonstrated track-record in influencing business partners and managing change is required. Candidate must be able to present complex information clearly and concisely to clients of all levels (written/verbal), possess strong analytical and problem solving skills, have strong business acumen, possess the ability to participate in and/or lead cross-functional teams, and have experience in financial modeling and standard valuation approaches. Candidate must have the ability to perform complex business and technical analysis, possess strong planning and organizing abilities, and be able to think creatively and work in a team environment. Demonstrated ability to recommend and implement process improvements, work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously is required. A successful candidate must be resourceful and independent, and thrives in changing challenging environment.
This role will be based in West Chester, PA and requires up to 15% travel.
