ETHICON™ Biosurgery is an innovative, growing business unit with a focus on developing and delivering solutions to one of the biggest problems in surgery. Our aim is to be the leader in bleeding and sealing solutions, delivering best-in-class innovations by leveraging our unique technology platforms and hybrid capabilities.

Our focus is on delivering the right products at the right time (RPRT) to the patient to the Health Care Professional when they are needed most. To be successful, we need to combine strong clinical adoption of our products with the support of various non-clinical stakeholders.

Due to an internal move we are looking to recruit a Territory Manager within the ETHICON™ Biosurgery Business unit. This individual will be responsible and accountable for driving the business in: West London, Surrey, Brighton.

Full product and selling skills training will be given as well as ongoing continued support in the role. ETHICON™ Biosurgery Territory Managers will undergo introductory training, held in the US. The Territory Manager will be required to live within the designated Territory and be flexible on their approach to work as some overnight travel and occasional weekend work may be necessary.

Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining and growing business in designated key accounts
- Using sound Key Account Management practices with full sales support back-up in the field and at head office
- The Territory manager will also be responsible for growth of new prodyct innovations in line with forecast and using the Integrity Selling system
- As part of an outstanding team, you will perform beyond your own self-interest in order to achieve all business goals
- Customer relationships and people development are fundamental to our business, and therefore, will be a prime responsibility
- You will be expected to treat your territory as if it is your own business maintaining key customers while developing strategies for new business.

Qualifications


Experience and qualifications desired:
- Confident, self-driven, highly competitive and results focused
- Customer centric
- Ability to demonstrate products and service
- Able to spend a significant amount of time in operating theatre environment
- Strong affinity for working closesly with others in a team and will show entrepreneurial behavior
- Emotional maturity and competence to build good relationships based on trust and respect
- Personal drive, commitment, organizational and business skills
- Ability to clearly demonstrate a track record of success and have a high energy, fast-paced approach to work
- A sound working knowledge of the NHS would be a distinct advantage
- High level of well defined communication skills and the successful individual should be competent and comfortable presenting to large groups of healthcare and procurement professionals
- Capacity for sheer hard work, dedication and self-belief is essential
- You must also demonstrate excellent PC skills and have a competent working knowledge of MS packages
- You must also hold a full clean driving licence
- A degree in a business or science discipline is highly desirable
