An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join the Janssen's Diabetes specialist sales team as an Associate Account Manager in Primary Care. We have new roles to cover the following geographies: West of Ireland, South of Ireland, North Leinster, South Leinster.
Together with the integrated brand team this team will be driving the successful multichannel launch of a new oral anti diabetic treatment for Type 2 Diabetes. The role will require you to work effectively across all levels of the HSE within the local health economy across the whole of the treatment pathway in Primary care, reflecting the structure of diabetes management in Ireland.
Key responsibilities of the role:-
- Partnering with account contacts across the local health economy to develop and align brand value propositions with local health economy objectives.
- Work in partnership with the integrated brand team to positively influence formulary decisions in the primary care setting where these formularies are already in place in GP practices.
- Understand the market environment to identify business opportunities within the complex changing HSE structures in primary care
- Become the expert in terms of knowledge and practical application for your territory in all aspects of the environment, diabetes, the company and competitor products.
- Produce an insight driven innovative account plans that will deliver a flawless multichannel launch delivering the fastest growth for a diabetes oral agent on your territory.
- Account manage your customers including payers, prescribers and other decision-makers – typically involving clinicians, diabetic specialist nurses (DSNs) , practice nurses and pharmacists at primary care level.
- Together with the Secondary care account managers create environments and advocates that will assist in peer to peer sharing of clinical experience within both of these settings.
- Work with other functions within the organization to investigate, highlight and meet the needs of the differing characteristics with a geographical area / health economy.
- Establish and manage KOL relationships on your territory.
- Become the diabetes market “go-to” account manager for your customers establishing the top ranked customer feedback against other industry account managers.
Qualifications
We are looking to recruit a highly skilled, passionate people who will utilise their experience and drive to implement a flawless multichannel launch, delivering the fastest growth for a diabetes oral agent. In order to recruit an industry leading team, applications will be considered from a range of backgrounds and experience.
We are seeking candidates with the following profiles:
- Primary Care Representatives or Medical Representatives with a strong, documented track record of sales achievement looking to take their first step into Account Management.
- Candidates who can demonstrate a documented excellent track record of sales in other sectors outside of Pharmaceuticals and are proven high performers within those sectors where account management has been the driver of that success.
- Candidates from a Medical Devices/Healthcare background looking to take their first step into the pharmaceutical industry
Successful candidates will meet the following criteria:
- A passion for delivering quality healthcare solutions.
- Proven track record in a field sales role.
- Strong business and tactical account implementation skills.
- You’ll be a creative thinker: a top performer with determination, passion and high levels of motivation.
- The ability to handle complex technical information and business challenges.
