Position Overview
Key responsibilities:
Lead and manage a wide variety of projects using standardized project management processes and methodology.
- Innovative projects which drive greater process efficiency in the area with goals towards improving quality of outputs, reducing cycle time and costs.
- Cross-functional project teams to solve issues in support of operational aspects of Supply Chain & Operations (SC&O).
- Project leadership in sharing objectives and goal alignment, team building, communication and motivating people
- Business Systems
- Innovative projects which drive greater process efficiency in the area with goals towards improving quality of outputs, reducing cycle time and costs.
- Cross-functional project teams to solve issues in support of operational aspects of SC&O.
- Project leadership in sharing objectives and goal alignment, team building, communication and motivating people.
Responsible for partner relations key to the operational success (CLS-CS, CLS-SDC, CLS-Transportation, Literature and Sample Third Party Distribution providers, Application Services, system support etc.):
- Build, strengthen and continuous improve the business relationship
- Define and achieve business goals
- Develop, monitor, measure, corrective action follow up etc. for contracts, SLA, RACI
- Metric and dashboard reviews
- Lead business reviews with cross functional team
- Key liaison for all issues
- Budget review and management, CIP deliverables
- Project prioritization
Lead and direct a multi-functional team of professionals supporting all the business units within Janssen
- Building organizational capability by driving professional development of direct reports and be seen as a leader managing according to Credo values.
- Be fully responsible for the HR cycle: attracting & recruiting talent, developing talent, managing performance, exporting talent.
- Establish departmental strategies and goals that are linked to divisional and corporate objectives
Strategic development and oversight of the overall end-to-end Marketing Materials process. (Concept to Sales Representative)
Responsible for the SC&O Business Continuity Plan.
Responsible for the oversight of the hospital and buying group RFP’s and contracts. Develop robust processes and strategies that facilitate Janssen’s ability to secure opportunities aligned with the marketing strategies.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree is required, Masters degree in Business or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 10 years relevant business experience is required
5 years direct supply chain experience coupled with strong project management
Pharmaceutical or Healthcare industry experience is preferred.
Demonstrated track record direct people management.
Strong analytical skills and business acumen is required.
Strategic thinking, the ability to create, cultivate and implement change is required.
Excellent stakeholder management is required (must have strong knowledge and partnering ability with all business functions).
Must be able to build consensus and look for collaboration with people from different departments and at all levels. Demonstrated exceptional leadership and management skills and an understanding of business beyond core functional expertise is required.
Strong team leadership skills is required.
Ability to minimize risks to the company and remove obstacles is required.
Excellent presentation and negotiation skills are required, along with the ability to communicate succinctly/
Ability to partner with and influence others without direct authority is required.
The ability to work in a complex business environment and be able to demonstrate innovative leadership through influence and the application of strategic thinking skills is a requirement.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint applications is required.
Experience with Six Sigma/Process Excellence tools, training, and/or certification is preferred.
