Description

McNeil Healthcare is currently looking for a Program Manager for their Lititz, Pa facility.

Johnson & Johnson has a family of companies consisting of more than 250 operating companies in 57 countries. McNeil Consumer Healthcare is the largest over-the-counter pharmaceutical company in the United States, and leader around the world. Its primary product lines include brands such as: Listerine®, Desitin®, Ben Gay®, Lubriderm® as well as others. The position is based in Lititz, PA.

Develops, justifies and executes large projects within the site. Responsible for and manages the site Cost Improvement Projects (CIP) portfolio, and manages the execution of the Make To Win (M2W) program at the Lititz site. Ensures projects and programs meet customer and company requirements by providing technical and business project leadership across functional boundaries for different phases of product development and support programs.

Develops and manages the overall site CIP portfolio by engaging business partners (internal and external) in brainstorming sessions, prioritization and resourcing of projects as well as managing the governance structure to deliver the site CIP goals.

Leads the M2W program at the site by developing and enhancing the Continuous Improvement Culture by identifying and executing initiatives that improve our Operating Systems (changeovers, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), waste reduction, labor efficiency), Management Infrastructure (Leadership standard work, Process Confirmation, Continuous Improvement governance structure) and Mindsets & Behaviors (the way people think, feel and conduct themselves in the workplace).

Leads significant and complex processes/projects via Flawless Project Execution (FPX) methodology for new product capability, including bid/quote process, equipment purchase, project planning, pilot batches, trial batches, line trials, specification and artwork development, stability validation protocols, and production start-up.

Acts as the site CIP System (Instantis) SME, providing training and monitoring execution of monthly updates

Establishes and communicates project and program schedules, objectives, priorities, and targets.

Monitors the status of programs and project, provides technical interpretation and expertise, ensures adherence to policies, procedures, government regulations, and customer specifications.

Keeps senior management informed on project and program status by creating, maintaining, and presenting written reports on project and program status, tests, costs, issues, and performance against established targets on a regular basis.

Researches business and technical issues to establish what is being done and where improvements are possible.

Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational seminars and trade shows, reviewing professional publications and analyzing new trends, and establishing personal networks.

Reliability crisis leadership for major supply interruptions. This includes organizing and leading cross-functional teams to understand root cause and implement solutions to minimize impact to customer service.

Qualifications


A University/Bachelor’s degree in engineering, scientific or related discipline is required with an MS/MBA or advance technical degree is preferred. Six Sigma Certification is preferred. A minimum of 8 years with manufacturing or supply chain experience with a minimum of 5 years in a GMP regulated manufacturing environment is required. Experience and working knowledge of Project Management Tools (i.e. FPx, Microsoft Project) is required. Prior experience leading cross-functional teams is required.

Communication (written and verbal, facilitation, decision making, collaboration and conflict management skills are required for this role. Demonstrated influencing skills and the ability to effectively influence key stakeholders is required. Change Leadership experience is preferred. Must demonstrate a mastery of the analytical skills and professional judgment is required to resolve major issues. Must be capable of making effective executive management level presentations, writing formal reports dealing with both technical and business case proposals and preparing project plans is required. Ability to collaborate across functions is required.
