This position within the Rheumatology Marketing organization will lead the Professional Marketing efforts for the franchise. The role will be responsible for achieving the franchise business plan forecast and leading or directing marketing activities including overall strategy and tactical development and deployment. This position will lead a team of marketing professionals with the incumbent responsible for staffing, training and developing team members.
The position will work closely with the other marketing leaders in the Rheumatology franchise to ensure portfolio optimization and synergistic strategy development. Responsibilities will also include the integration of the brand strategy into the sales organization. Building and maintaining a close working relationship with Sales Leadership and Sales Learning & Development is required. The Group Product Director will also work with multiple functional partners beyond Sales to include; CADO, Immunology Marketing, HCC, etc. and outside vendors in order to effectively execute key commercial activities. Success will be achieved by leading the efforts of this cross functional team.
In depth examples of this role include development of brand and franchise strategies and tactics, attainment of financial goals, and establishment of annual marketing plans. Present and defend brand performance at routine Business Metric Reviews with various levels of senior leadership. Plan promotional programs and services to enhance franchise perceptions and performance. Provide financial forecasts and updates throughout the year. Utilize market research to plan product activities. Coordinate promotional activities across the franchise to ensure resource optimization. Provide input into the pricing and contracting strategies for the product line. Support franchise team cross-functional initiatives. Budget management to support achievement of financial objectives. Continually assesses competitive landscape and respond accordingly.

Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required. MBA or other advanced degree is preferred. A minimum of 10 years total business experience is required. 5 or more years of healthcare marketing experience is required. Extensive experience in representing strategy and performance updates to Senior Leadership is required. Prior experience with marketing responsibility for a portfolio of products is preferred. Sales leadership at the District Manager level or higher is preferred. People management experience in a marketing function is preferred.
This role is located in Horsham, PA and will require up to 20% domestic travel.
