For our group IT at our site in Zuchwil we are looking for a Professional SAP Functional Engineer WM/MM
Your responsibilities
In our SAP team you will analyze our customers’ needs with the objective of defining process-oriented solutions. In collaboration with your team you will evaluate the requests from local key users, coordinate technical activities and work as a team member in projects. You will comply with the GxP/SOX instructions as well as the ITIL processes.
In your role as a Professional SAP Functional Engineer your main tasks specifically include:
- Implementation of business requirements in Depuy Synthes using SAP ERP related components WM/MM/SD
- Responsibility for customizing the SAP Systems
- Introduction of new business processes
- Enhancement and development of existing business processes
- Advice and support (second level) of the business departments
- Project management from conception to successful implementation (including documentation) and optimization in the role of project team member
- Cooperation with the business departments, development department and, if needed, external consultants
- Adherence to the processes of Incident, Change and Project Management
- Customer and service orientation
- Education and information of SAP Key Users
Qualifications
Our ideal candidate has successfully completed an apprenticeship in the commercial field and has professional experience with SAP Warehouse Management and Material Management. Also knowledge in other SAP areas (such as sales and distribution) would be a plus. You have at least 3 years of SAP module experience, have worked in the IT sector for several years and you possess solid project leadership skills.
This position requires a strong command of English and German, the ability to work independently, a full commitment to accuracy and the willingness to travel (up to 30% in peak times). We are looking for a reliable person who is a team player with solid communication skills.
