SAP Functional Lead Deliver Area (e-WM)-00000PAF
Description
The IT Applications Services Supply Chain organization is seeking an IT Lead within their Deliver Team. This person will be providing ERP platform support for Deliver processes for the J&J organizations in the region Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA). He/she will be responsible for smaller projects and/or components of larger projects.
The person takes in the functional specifications and co-ordinates the technical design, developments, testing, cut-over activities, implementation and support in the WM/EWM module primarily.
The business includes Pharma Operations.
Your Responsibilities
- Deliver support and enhancements in the Deliver area for the Europe2 Platform primarily.
Analyze business issues, balancing the often competing needs for innovation and standardization/process harmonization, to develop/propose solutions.
Ensure high quality and cost efficient SAP application support, according to Service Level Agreements agreed with business. Participate and/or take a leading role (within area of expertise) in projects.
- Lead onshore and offshore teams of functional support consultants across multiple platforms (level 2 and 3), including resource planning and weekly follow up meetings with the teams.
Escalate timely functional, technical and resource issues. Take in functional specifications and review of technical designs created by other consultants in the WM/EWM module
- Act as a Lead for a team, on shore and off shore, supporting WM . Mentor junior staff and/or external consultants (level 2 and 3).
- Manage and control the implementation of changes. Ensure that these changes do not disrupt existing functionality on these productive clients.
- Act as key technical advisor to project teams and/or contribute to medium or large sized.
Create accurate estimations for enhancements and projects in the Deliver area. Create detailed project plan and deliver project according to project plan, on time and within budget. Execute all project activities according to SDLC methodology, to assure a firm delivery of security and audit requirements.
Qualifications
- You have a B.A. /B.S. degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Economics or other related field; an advanced degree is desirable.
+4 years of IT experience in a corporate environment supporting SAP projects is required.
- Excellent knowledge of the SAP WM or EWM module.
- Experience in reviewing functional specifications, co-ordinating technical design and developments in the WM space.
- Project Management skills
- Analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and a fluent knowledge of English.
- Team player.
- Result driven.
- Flexibility in working hours is required (occasional over-time or weekend work).
- Project related travel may be required.
