The Senior Manager, Mobility Advisory Services provides advisory consultation to regional business and HR stakeholders on the use, benefits and design of Talent Mobility solutions to meet specific business and talent development needs. Additionally, the Senior MAS Manager acts as a subject-matter-expert for complex global assignment planning and structuring.
The Senior Manager; Mobility Advisory Services will develop and strengthen business relationships with business and HR stakeholders and act as an advisor and a trusted partner to them on designing solutions to mobility issues or needs, making referrals and/or partnering with Learning Services to ensure optimal approaches for cross national assignments.
She/ He will consult with and provide deep subject matter expertise to business and HR stakeholders to implement optimal mobility approaches that meet business and talent development needs, will consult with business and HR stakeholders to develop objectives and goals for mobility assignments and will promote an investment mindset of the value and benefit of Talent Mobility initiatives.
The individual will conduct research and analysis required for planning Talent Mobility initiatives and opportunities (e.g. mergers, divestitures and acquisition, new market entry) and consult with management, employees, and functional departments to identify needs to be met by the international assignment. As appropriate, this role will explore opportunities for referral and integration of JNJ’s wide range of learning services offerings to optimally support assignment objectives.
The Senior Manager will act as an escalation point to the vendor partners for complex assignment structuring and due diligence, and advise on requirements and considerations (e.g. compliance requirements, new country entry requirements, assignment/ employment structure). He / She will share observations with Talent Mobility and Learning Services partners on trends and business requests that may suggest needed improvements to mobility, learning programs, events, materials, etc. to improve effectiveness and meet evolving needs of the business.
Further, the Senior Manager will keep updated on industry best practices, trends, and latest thinking on talent mobility and the JJ learning services portfolio. Key customers for this position are BBHRs and Talent Acquisition managers. The Manager also partners with other Talent Mobility and Learning Services professionals in the Talent Development organization and with other SG professionals.

A minimum of Bachelor’s degree required, an advanced degree in HR, Business Education, or Organization Development is highly preferred. A minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience in a combination of relevant functional domains including HR, Consulting, Talent Mobility, Talent Management/Development, International Compensation, Tax Services and/or Benefits Program Design and Administration or other closely related field is required. Any experience with Polaris Expentia or other expatriate program management technology would be preferred.
This position will require exceptional written and verbal communications skills, as well as, a proven track record of managing change. This individual will require strong analytical capabilities with the ability to work well between functions and across all levels of the business. The candidate must have a proven track record of influencing, and negotiating skills that inspire trust and quickly build credibility between key stakeholders. Strong interpersonal and technical skills are required to facilitate collaborations. This candidate will have proven experience driving progress and remaining focused under ambiguous and complex situations internationally. In addition, this candidate will have strong consultant and leadership skills with a global mindset and possess cross-cultural sensitivity
This position will be located at any appropriate location in North America or Latin America and APAC. This position may require up to 25% travel, both domestic and international.
