The District Manager (DM) is a pivotal leadership position in achieving this objective.
This position is responsible for leading and managing a team of Sales Representatives who are focused on healthcare providers, physician networks, hospitals, pharmacies, and other relevant stakeholders within the market. These Sales Representatives also work collaboratively with other North America Pharmaceutical Sales Forces to support the use of Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and Johnson & Johnson products in treating relevant disease states.

Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelors Degree is required; an MBA or Masters Degree is preferred; six (6) or more years of direct selling experience to healthcare professionals in the pharmaceutical, biotech, device, or healthcare industries, or large account development related experience is required; a minimum of three (3) years of management experience in the healthcare industry within a pharmaceutical, biotech, and/or medical device role and/or the successful attainment of the District Business Acumen phase of the Management Development Program is required; excellent written and oral communication skills are required; a valid driver's license and clean driving record is required; the ability to travel as necessary up to 50% or more (some overnight and weekends are required) is required; prior experience in the therapeutic area(s) of cardiology, diabetes, metabolics and/or pain management is preferred; preference with be given to candidates with documented sales results, including examples of company awards.
