The Real World Evidence Director will be responsible for build and manage a new Real World Evidence area in Janssen Latin America in alignment with Janssen 2020 strategy. The incumbent will lead y coordinate the implementation of the RWE strategic plan.
Responsibilities
Provide strategic RWE leadership to Janssen Latin America organization
Establish as a strategic, efficient and timely development of RWE deliverables
Effectively represent the RWE science function on complex, international, multidisciplinary cross-functional teams and initiatives.
Implementation of governance structure in RWE in LA
Successfully present and defend RWE strategies to internal and external audiences.
Working in tandem with internal stakeholders and functional leads to design and implement the RWE strategy, overseeing the delivery in one or more therapeutic areas
Use of automated databases and/or primary data collection studies (such as non-interventional) - this may include working in collaboration with external partnerships
By articulating RWE strengths and methodological techniques, maintain extensive knowledge of the area's application through to lifecycle of the products in alignment with strategic business priorities
Build / maintain strong collaborative relationships with different functional groups.
Coordinate with other internal stakeholders to meet the overall delivery objectives for RWE roadmap in Latin America
Identify and monitor key performance indicators and other metrics to track success
Manage assigned budgets to targets
Provide expert RWE knowledge to develop, lead and implement the strategic plan for RWE in the region
Lead the implementation of RWE project in Latin America coordinating the cross functional teams selected to be part of this project
Recruit, build and manage talent for RWE in Latin America
Optimally allocate team resources according to strategic priorities
Manage performance of team
Conceptualize and implement benchmarking programs to create capabilities in RWE

Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Undergraduate degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
Graduate degree (Masters or Doctorate) in a relevant RWE field such as health economics, epidemiology, and health services research, Economics, and/or public health and more than 6-8 years of relevant experience
Experience conducting RWE projects for pharmaceutical products
Expertise in RWE Methodologies and project implementation
Demonstrated leadership experience and accomplishment, skills to manage and build an organization
Understanding of pharmaceutical organizational processes, including experience working cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders
Familiar with health technological assessment methodologies and trends in public sector
Experience working with health care related to RWE
Knowledge of drug development (pre-clinical, clinical and post-marketing) and experience with ICH GCP guidelines
General understanding of private and public RWE sources
Knowledge/

Strong technical skills coupled with business acumen.
