Leading, developing and managing compliance initiatives in line with HCC and FCPA requirements as outlined by the MD&D UK/Ireland HCC Officer to ensure compliant business growth across the assigned business units.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead team of compliance professionals.
- Determine compliance team member’s roles and responsibilities.
· Define compliance agenda/priorities and co-ordinate across Business Compliance Manager/Specialists accordingly.
- Establish adequate compliance standards across Global Surgery as define by cluster HCC Officer, ensuring where applicable consistency across the Global Surgery business.
- Partner closely with HCC Officer and Corporate HCC Central Team.
- Attend business unit’s Leadership Team meetings.
- Attend Monthly HCC Central Team Operating Group meetings/conference calls.
· Translate Corporate requirements into process flows to be followed by the business.
- Develop Management Action Plan to achieve compliance where required.
· Ensure Corporate Auditing & Testing MAP response and MAP items closure.
- Lead and support Compliance Project Coordinator in their task.
- Drive Monitoring activities across Global Surgery.
- Ensure timely completion and implementation of compliance projects.
- Supervise SOP development, training and implementation.
- Maintain and ensure accurate training tracking records (new employees and annual certification)
- Provide new starters with detailed process/SOP training within the first three months of employment.
- Maintain high quality of Corporate data in view of ensuring high Corporate reporting standard.
- Ensure Global Surgery completion of due diligence process from appointment of new TPI to contract signature.
- Review day to day guidelines, improve where appropriate and communicate requirements.
- To act as mentor, role model and coach through effective and regular communication to the team.
- To ensure ongoing development of team.
- Drive, focus and set the culture for the UK/Ireland team in line with business objectives and Company Credo.
· Identify opportunities to develop direct reports knowledge of HCC requirements and enhance processes.
· Identify opportunities, internal & external, to develop and enhance understanding of HCC and wider environment.
- Perform all job duties in full accordance with the Worldwide Policies on Information Asset Protection, maintain password(s) as Confidential, and protect Critical Business Information.
- Know, understand, incorporate and comply with all applicable laws and regulations relating to UK/Ireland activities and Policies and Procedures of the HCBI Program and Trade Association Code of Conduct.
Champion successful compliance related activities and programmes.
Qualifications
Track record of delivering outstanding business results and success in managing positions of increasing scope, responsibility and complexity.
