Overall Descriptions:
- The Manager assists the Director, Communication & Public Affairs, with the management of the company’s media bureau and media relations tasks.
- Reporting to: Director- Communication & Public Affairs
- Working location: Shanghai or Beijing

Duties and Responsibilities:
Media Relations
• Perform the day-to-day duties of maintaining a One J&J Media Bureau to:
o Regularly disseminate information and proactively develop media placements on enterprise stories, including supporting the YAES communications.
o Respond to media inquiries and ensure timely dissemination of accurate information to the press.
o Sponsor media workshops on healthcare industry and manage media CRM and resources for issue and crisis response.
o Assist in the development of editorial materials such as press releases, factsheets, and FAQs.
• Perform the day-to-day duties on the Digital Media Listening and media monitoring tool.
• Support social media programs as required.
Executive Communications
• Support the development and management of an executive communication program including:
o Proactively develop media placement opportunities and speaking engagements.
Qualifications
Job requirements
• Posse 8+ years of experience in communications with a major international public relations agency or global company.
• Strong media relations experience.
• Possess exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills in Chinese.
• Command of English required.
• Minimally a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts (history, political science, philosophy) or communications field.
• Able to travel when necessary.
