General description:

Impact of Decision-making: Provides input into new products, processes, standards or operational plans in support of the organization’s business strategies. Ensures that objectives/projects are completed on schedule and within budget. Decisions or recommendations will have direct impact on delivery of programs, schedules, cost and allocation of resources.

Accountability/Decision-making: Focus on operational issues with a short-term focus, generally less than 1 year.

Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of a specific professional discipline involving the integration of theory and principles with organizational practices and precedents.

Supervision received/provided: Assignments are received in task and objective oriented terms. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives. Accomplishes results through lower level managers and/or experienced professionals/team members who exercise significant latitude and independence in their assignments. Often heads a functional activity.

Main responsibilities:

- Assists with the implementation of the HR strategy in support of the short-term and long-term business goals

- Serves as the primary HR business partner for managers in the assigned business unit

- Partners with Specialist Groups to ensure coordination of HR strategies and processes across the organization

- Supports the implementation of organizations and cultures that drive innovation and employee engagement

- Supports the implementation of structures and strategies to improve individual and organizational performance

- Implements effective strategies to enable the organization to thrive through periods of change, e.g. acquisition, internal growth, restructurings

- Provides group and one-on-one coaching with managers and employees to support leadership development, business decision-making, human resources management, problem solving and performance management

- Supports the implementation of appropriate HR solutions aligned with business direction

- Implements global/standardized HR processes at the local level

- Assists with employee communication initiatives within customer groups

- Provides advice on performance and related issues (NA - will be accomplished through Employee Relations Resource Group (ERRG)

- Models and lives the Credo values

- Works with HR leadership team on the following:

- Implementation of global succession planning, career management, performance management and recruitment

- Ensures that the business unit reward structures reward and recognize high performance, innovation and creativity.

- Ensuring implementation of key processes and capabilities to support business unit learning and growth agenda

Qualifications


Qualifications:
- Professional degree: Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Economics, etc.
- Languages: Fluent in English and either Spanish
