J&J Corporate ITHR works with the Global Human Resources and Finance Teams to enable the HR Specialty Group functions by providing enterprise wide technology platforms necessary to enable growth, development and engagement of J&J personnel. Corporate ITHR, targets critical global HR capabilities including Strategic Talent Management, Performance Management, Employee Data Management, Payroll, Executive Compensation and Workforce Analytics.

The IT Lead is responsible for the technical delivery of initiatives, projects and operational support, related to the delivery of Equity Compensation Resources for HR and Finance. The IT Technical Lead will collaborate with Application Services, IT Infrastructure Services, as well as HR Operations, HR Specialty Groups, and Finance to deliver against the overall strategy. They will be champions of good systems development and management processes as well as actively promote awareness and alignment with all J&J compliance requirements.

The IT Lead will be responsible for managing the application delivery of ECM / GATE / Compensation projects and support services. These services would include project/program delivery, application design, development, implementation, testing, and base business support services. The IT Technical Lead will represent ITHR in supporting the gathering of requirements, managing external resources, prioritizing and managing requests, system enhancements, and overseeing the implementation of changes from design, development, testing, and deployment. They will ensure appropriate SDLC and change management processes are followed based on the priorities of HR and Finance Groups.

Responsibilities to include compliance with IAPPs, WWIS, SOX and segregation of duties requirements for all work completed. Maintain all documentation in accordance with J&J validation/compliance and SDLC requirements. Interact with ITSS for infrastructure requirements and components for ECR projects, applications and systems.

Qualifications


This position requires a minimum of a B.A./B.S. degree. Candidates that possess a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or technical field are preferred. This position requires a minimum of 5 years overall IT experience. Experience with PowerBuilder is strongly recommended. Experience with Web Development using .NET/and Oracle PL/SQL is preferred. Knowledge of UNIX scripts is preferred. This position requires strong project delivery experience - managing global, cross-functional, multi-disciplined projects and service delivery environment. A global mindset - ability to work across multiple countries and cultures is required. This position requires interdependent partnering and collaboration skills to build strong relationships with internal and external customers, suppliers and business partners. Candidates that possess ITHR project experience particularly with Compensation related systems are preferred. Prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communications skills are required. This position requires 5-10% travel and will be based in New Brunswick, NJ.
