Searching the best talent for: Business Unit Manager- LifeScan

General Summary:

This position is responsible and accountable to the deliver the P&L determined for LifeScan by managing both sales and marketing team working in the self monitoring blood glucose category.

Mexico is among the top-priority global emerging markets for Lifescan worldwide. Mexico will be a place of investment and focus over the years ahead. We need a very strong talent to represent and lead that market.

Responsabilities:
- Develops the strategy to win share and achieve accelerated growth with OneTouch products
- Manages internally strategic partnership / Service Level Agreement cross-sector with Janssen and Consumer (work in progress)
- Leads externally partnership with senior stakeholders on private sides (ie: Wal-Mart, Similares), Public or NGO (ie Carlos Slim Institute) to jointly develop diabetes penetration and JNJ market share
- Actively participates in both the Mexican MD&D Local Committee and the Diabetes regional LA leadership team to shape local and regional strategy

- Monitors implementation of brand strategy and makes adjustments as needed.
- Analyzes key performance indicators and financial reports such as budget, commercial policy, price, net sales, and investment level, product mix, GP.

- Builds solid, trusted relationships with key company stakeholders, team members, clients, channel partners and industry leaders.

- Strong leadership and management skills; ability to influence, engage and drive results through direct reports, indirect reports and peers.

- Ensures efficient and effective forecasts units for OneTouch line of products

- Oversees extensive market research and test market activities.

- Ensures resources are available for account team to execute projects and strategies. Ensures opportunities are available for the account team to gain needed skills and abilities.

- Demonstrates consistently sound judgment and creative thinking.

- Exhibits effective planning and prioritization skills

- Identifies and communicates business opportunities to strengthen the franchise/region

- Provide the region with timely, innovative and updated access to marketing related information

Reports to: Regional Business Director Latin America - LifeScan

Qualifications


Qualifications:
- Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or similar with a desirable Master
- Previous work experience with the Consumer sector/Over the counter/Retail at least 5 years
- Advanced level of English
- Strong marketing / shared marketing experience and track record (at least 2 years)
- Availability for business travels
