Johnson & Johnson is currently recruiting for an IT Manager, Data Solutions Architecture. The preferred location for this position is Piscataway, NJ or other New Jersey based J&J site. Alternatively, the position may be based at any J&J facility within the U.S., or remotely.
Domestic/International travel is required up to 50% of the time. Peak periods of travel may be near 100% for 1-2 months around go-lives. If staffed outside current deploying area, must be willing to adapt to flexible schedule to meet time-zone requirements of deploying region and must be willing to adopt up to an additional 25% travel.

The IT Supply Chain organization is seeking a Data Solutions Architecture Manager to support the Back to Basics program. The incumbent will be responsible for the solution architecture for the data components of the Back to Basics global ERP solution. The position will be individually accountable to define and design the end-to-end solutions required to support data conversion and master data management activities with the program core team for multiple concurrent project deployments. This position will report to the Back to Basics IT Director for Data Management.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
Design and lead installation and configuration of the End-to-End Data Migration architecture, including source connectivity, extraction, staging, translation, construction, validation, upload, and verification/reconciliation with BtB target SAP. Ensure leverage of Master Data Management and Data Migration Best Practices and process/data content to accelerate conversion activities. Build repeatable data conversion model to enable multiple global concurrent deployments, including re-usable conversion rules library focused on JDE and SAP source systems mappings.
Define and enforce J&J BtB technical standards for all conversion and MDM development. Drive technical issues to closure with internal IT and Business organizations, and any external solution providers. Works closely with BASIS and technical infrastructure teams to coordinate and ensure high availability landscape for data architecture and conversion components. Ensure data solution architecture meets Computer System Validation requirements. Design and lead installation and configuration of the End-to-End Master Data Management and Data Conversion architectures.
Lead data solution architecture definition and adjustments across multiple concurrent deployments. Defines, publishes and maintains data solutions architecture planning and execution playbook to ensure utilization of repeatable best practices and lessons learned. Partners with the Enterprise Master Data Management team to ensure data standards and guidelines are supported by the data solutions architecture. Partner with the technical team ensuring that RICEF's developed meet the user and functional specifications. Ensure adherence to J&J standards (SDLC, CSV, GxP and SOX).
Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required. A minimum of 7 years of business or IT experience is required. A minimum of 2 years of experience using SAP Business Objects Data Services and/or Cransoft for data conversion is required with experience on at least one large scale implementation is required. Experience with SAP MDM and MDG is preferred. Experience with FDA, GxP, and SOX compliance requirements is preferred. Supply Chain experience/functional knowledge is preferred.
Experience developing and implementing processes and methodologies is preferred. Excellent communication skills are required. Strong leadership skills in a collaborative, team based environment are required. Consulting and influencing skills are preferred. People Management experience preferred. Change Management and System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience preferred. Experience collaborating in a cross-functional team environment preferred. Global experience preferred.
