Job Description
Incraft is a new Cordis product to be launched in the established EMEA AAA market. It will be a recent Cordis product in this market segment so it is critical that Cordis, as well as Incraft, is introduced professionally. Creating and developing new sales opportunities is fundamental to our business and therefore will be a prime responsibility.
The key objective of the BDS AAA is to achieve business goals and to meet objectives as agreed with the Line Manager. You will be expected to give clinical and technical support, including Patient preparation and intra operative support where needed. You will work closely with the J&J Account Managers and Cordis Endo salesforce to provide a fresh new professional service to the AAA customer and gain share at the expense of the competition. As this is a new venture you will play a pivotal role in communicating success and failures to help develop our knowledge of the market and refine strategy moving forward.
The role reports to the newly created position of Business Unit Director Cordis BNL.
Key Areas of Responsibility
1. Execution of the Cordis sales and marketing strategies to increase our presence in the AAA market and conversion of the competitor business.
2. Execution of specific customer development & training plans by providing full clinical support to all the Cordis AAA accounts with his/her Account Manager and Cordis Endo salesforce
- Clinical Support to customers during cases performed with the Cordis AAA product
- Focus on customer "training" to achieve account (technology) independence on AAA products within agreed time frames
- Increase Cordis AAA product penetration in the accounts
- Optimize practitioner efficiency through optimal product usage
- Support colleagues on information exchange and competitor updates where appropriate

Play an active role in the introduction of new technologies to the accounts in his/her territory

Clinical presentations of the technology

Set up and execute product training program for the accounts

ESI - CoE training

Active clinical support during the initial cases and follow-up

Training/coaching on product usage with the goal of getting the customer independent on product usage

Regular follow-up with accounts post product introduction

Working in a close relationship with the Account Manager and the Endovascular Salesforce, to effectively implement the sales strategy for the territory and ensure that sales objectives are met in a precise and competent manner.

Identify customer needs and position Cordis products to match them

Transfer sales leads to account manager

Keep the Account Manager informed on account specific strategies by the competition

Help monitor inventory and support stock movement where necessary
Kwalificaties
Education & experience
- Experience: minimum of 5 years in sales/clinical support
- Preferable a good knowledge of the AAA procedure and all associated devices
- Education: educated to a degree level, preferably biotechnical engineers and or scientific
- Fluent in Dutch and English is required, French is an asset
- Strong customer market focus
- Keen on working in the vascular environment
