Position Title: Accounts Receivable Manager, Northern Europe
Location: Maidenhead, UK
Position Summary:
We now have a great opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Manager to join our Consumer business. Leading a team of five, the Northern Europe Accounts Receivable Manager is responsible for providing financial leadership and management of the cash collection process across the 6 markets within the Northern Europe cluster (UK, Ireland, Sweden, Denmark, Finland & Norway). The individual is expected to manage a total AR ledger of up to $0.2bn supporting net sales of over $1bn via high quality and pro-active financial insight on a day to day basis to key stakeholders across the cluster.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Maximise cash flow via proactive cash collection processes; ensuring payments are received within agreed terms.
- Develop a detailed understanding of key customers process and systems. Make regular customer and market visits.
- Ensure that all processes and procedures are Sarbanes Oxley compliant and relevant controls are in place and reviewed regularly.
- Play an active role on the Northern Europe finance leadership team.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Full member of the Institute of Credit Management
- Experience in the FMCG and/or pharmaceutical industries with proven track record in problem solving and DSO reduction is essential.
- Computer literate: Excel, SAP & CRM knowledge would be an added value.
- Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley act and relevant controls required.
