The Quality Technician 1 is responsible for inspection and testing of medical device raw materials and components in accordance to approved procedures / inspection plans, company procedures and applicable regulations and standards; and is Responsible for final review of Device History Records (DHR) for finished product release.
Responsibilities as Quality Technician are to: Perform dimensional and visual inspection of assigned raw materials and components per approved procedures / inspection plans; Document all inspection / test results and any non-conformances found during inspection, testing or evaluations according to approved procedures / inspection plans; and Perform disposition of raw materials and components. Additionally this role will: Maintain knowledge of all procedures, change to specifications and applicable regulations and standards related to areas of responsibilities; Review inspection / test results; provide feedback to engineers and quality technicians; and Perform final review of Device History Records (DHR) for finished product release.

Qualifications
The following experiences are required: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; 2-4+ years of related work experience; PC Literacy and use of Microsoft office; Be able to read and interpret engineering drawings
The following experiences are preferred: Some college education; Scientific discipline or related engineering education; Pharmaceuticals or Medical Devices industry experience;
Experience using the following Quality tools is preferred: microscopes, calipers; micrometers; height gages; gage blocks.
