In order to support the EMEA deployment of the Enterprise HR and Payroll initiative (Project Sunrise), EBS EMEA is recruiting the following position:
IT Lead Testing
Role Description
The IT Lead Testing is responsible for leading & facilitating the testing activities related the global HR system (Workday), the end-state country payroll, T&A and benefit solutions in the context of project Sunrise deployment in the EMEA region.
o Lead solution testing (Integration and E2E) and ensure proper set up of testing environments containing proper test data with vendors and Workday
o Coordinate with country test leads, all the testing activities including management of testing lifecycle from planning to execution (plan tests, create test schedules and coordinate their execution across local and remote teams).
o Serve as regional IT POC for testing during implementation and steady state; Take responsibility for execution of regional IT testing strategy during project implementation and during Workday release upgrades.
o Train country IT , HR and Payroll on the testing strategy and related work instruction documents
o Collaborate with country workstream leads, country testing lead, regional and global stakeholders to build a solid, realistic and executable testing plan detailing all the test activities, resource needs and interdependencies as part of local project plan and in accordance with global planning
o Align testing strategy and plans with global Workday, regional and local project plans.
o Take the regional lead with test preparation and execution, such as but not limited to test scenario and test script development, test location logistics, test result capturing and reporting, test event facilitation and test documentation in the context or Workday release management and Workday country deployments.
o Assist with creation of parallel payroll run books where appropriate
o Ensure set-up of testing tools e.g. Quality Center and ensure capturing test documentation in accordance with compliance guidelines.
o Document the test process according to the SDLC standards
o Collaborate with local, regional and global stakeholders
o Ensure J&J compliance and SDLC guidelines are followed for any change that will be implemented
o Lead the follow up & closure of issues and errors
o Communicate and prepare status, business and technical issues and risk and their resolution across functional organizations.
o Drive team collaboration spanning multiple geographies and teams.
o Engage in other ad-hoc project management assignments when required
Qualifications
• A minimum of 5 years IT background with experience in leading and supporting projects
• A minimum of 3 years of project management experience is preferred.
• Experience in testing and testing methodology is a must
• Experience with testing tools like Quality Center is recommended
• Prior experience in a global project environment collaborating with cross functional regional, country teams is required.
• Strong project management skills
• Solid knowledge of common project management tools, like MS Project
• Ability to prioritize projects and deliverables.
• Ability to work with business partners at all levels of the organization.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills required.
• Experience of facilitating and capturing business requirements is required.
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills are required; ability to communicate effectively with all levels of business partners is required.
• Highly motivated and self-directed
• Knowledge of Workday and Payroll applications is an asset
• Knowledge of SDLC is required.
• Knowledge of Compliance (SOX, Data Privacy, etc.) is recommended
• Ability to travel within Europe.
