The Senior Marketing Manager, GSM - Global Energy – Market Development is responsible for developing global strategies and working with regions on execution to drive procedure solutions, value propositions and technology adoption aligned with the strategic plan.
This role will develop a structured technology adoption framework to systematically assess and address adoption barriers in target procedures for target markets and drive global penetration. Develop procedure solutions with compelling value propositions and market access enablers to drive adoption. Act as the global leader and key contact to systematically leverage synergy and facilitate the sharing of best practice to accelerate penetration. Develop global KOL strategy to build market-level awareness and adoption. Demonstrate product, procedure, and clinical knowledge. Develop SoTM (Science of Tissue Management) and other tools to better support execution of the penetration strategy. Focus on key stakeholders including Clinicians, Providers, Patients and Payers. Accelerate the penetration into target procedures by developing procedure solutions to address unmet needs with strong value propositions. Work closely with the regions and cross-functional partners to develop Integrated Market Acceleration Plans consisting of local market research, environmental scan, assessing technology penetration in Open and Lap Procedures, Professional Education Strategy, Provider / Physician Economics and Market Access Strategies.
Qualifications
A minimum of a BS/BA Degree required, Master's degree preferred. A minimum of 8 years progressive business experience required, and a minimum of 4 years marketing experience is required; health care marketing experience preferred. Medical Device marketing and sales experience is highly preferred, previous regional in line marketing experience, and Global strategic marketing experience preferred. Experience with Marketing Excellence/Mastery, including Launch Excellence principles required. Experience in product development including needs assessment, portfolio management and product lifecycle management preferred. Proven ability to work in a Global matrix organization required. Prior international experience, particularly in emerging markets, is preferred. Excellent cross functional and management influencing skills and ability to develop customer relationships required. Experience with supply chain, global brand management, influencing a Medical Device sales force and new product launch preferred. Strategic marketing or marketing development experience preferred. Familiarity with Advanced Energy devices and related surgical procedures is preferred. This position may require up to 30% travel.
