Country Recruiter Job Description

Role Description

The Recruiter will be responsible for managing the recruiting process for selected J&J client groups spanning all Operating Companies in Thailand. This position will report to the ASEAN Country Cluster Recruitment Lead.

Job Responsibilities

· Work on the complete end to end recruitment process as prescribed in the Talent Acquisition process with Hiring Managers, Local HR and other J&J Specialist Groups when necessary
- Coordinate and collaborate with relevant stakeholders in creating staffing plans, developing sourcing and interviewing strategies and implementing agreed action plans.
- Deploy and use job appropriate behavioral and competency based interview methodology
- Coach hiring managers or teams on interviewing and candidate assessment techniques.
- Identify and share recruitment best practices across business units of focus using the J&J TA Service Delivery model.
- Maintain current knowledge of business, marketplace, legal and recruitment trends and requirements.
- Contribute to development of and implement agreed sourcing strategy to achieve significant reduction in agency sourcing which may include supporting other markets and recruiters when required.
- Interview prospective employees and evaluate candidates from entry level to senior management levels for employment factors such as job experience, education and training, knowledge, skills and abilities, organizational culture considerations, and other data pertinent to classification and selection.
- Consult with hiring managers on recommended starting salaries and other offer package details including, but not limited to, sign on bonuses, relocation, vacation, stock options, annual bonus, etc., Negotiate offers. Provide candidate offer package recommendation to line manager.
- Assist in checking professional references and drive other candidate due diligence activities in compliance with the recruitment operating procedures.
- Manage all data associated with the recruitment process – e.g. candidate information, interview process details, offer information, etc.
- Ensure data integrity by accurately and timely encoding of all information in the Recruitment Technology (RT)
- Ensure that the recruitment process flow complies with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Manage all recruitment reports ensuring accuracy and submission in a timely manner.
- Provide company information to candidates and appropriately "sell" candidates on the value proposition of the Johnson & Johnson experience.
- Ensure that the process and the final hiring decision are properly handled in a timely manner. Gather/compile/maintain/provide regular metrics for HR-related activities.
- Establish close relationship with all stakeholders and other Third Party Vendors, collaborating to improve the overall recruitment process measuring and reporting their performance regularly.
- Lead or participate in local, regional or global projects focused on recruiting process improvements or best practices.

Qualifications


Qualifications, Experience and Competencies

Required
- A minimum of a Bachelors degree is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of recruitment experience required.
- Must have a demonstrated capability in recruiting for wide variety of levels and positions in multiple functional disciplines, preferably in healthcare, consumer or manufacturing companies.
- Excellent interpersonal communication, customer-service and organization skills required. Must have the experience and ability to have discussions with executive and senior management level personnel.
- Must have a demonstrated ability to apply judgment to ambiguous or out-of-policy situations.
- Attention to detail and the ability to deal appropriately with confidential information required. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously is required, as is the ability to develop relationships and influence others.
- Must have demonstrated knowledge and experience in HR recruiting processes and practices (i.e., compensation, employment laws, interviewing skills, sourcing strategies, etc). Experience working with any recruitment software and/or HR IS systems is required.
- Must have strong account management, consulting and interviewing skills.
- Strong customer and marketplace focus; negotiation and influencing skills; project management, and time management are required.
- Speak, read and write fluently in English and local language.

Desirable

- Experience with Taleo other similar Applicant Tracking System is an asset.

- Experience with Targeted Selection/Behavioral Interviewing.

- Experience in managing a TPV as part of the recruiting process

- Experience in direct candidate sourcing is a plus.

This position will be based in the J&J Latkrabang Office Bangkok Thailand.
