An exciting opportunity exists to join the ETHICON Team as a Biosurgery Product Specialist for QLD. This role will enable you to lead the market creation and growth of a portfolio with life-saving products and a very strong pipeline continuing in the short and long-term.
We are seeking a highly driven sales professional who is self-motivated, energetic and passionate to become a member of the ETHICON team. You will be responsible for exceeding your sales targets in targeted accounts/territories and ensuring the long-term development of new business opportunities, professional education and key customer relationships.
As an ETHICON Biosurgery Product Specialist, you will be expected to drive the growth of the ETHICON Biosurgery portfolio in multiple surgical specialties including General Surgery, Urology, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Spinal Surgery and Gynaecology , working in conjunction with your fellow ETHICON & JJM Product Specialists.
Qualifications
To be successful you will need to enjoy working in the surgical environment and teaming closely with surgeons and nursing staff to support procedures. Your ability to organise your time and resources is paramount, as is your ability to build strong customer relationships. You must be a team player and work closely with your ETHICON & other JJM colleagues.
The ideal candidate would possess the following attributes:
- A proven track record in medical device sales in a hospital environment
- Ability to identify and focus on acquiring new business
- Capabilities to drive professional educational initiatives to accelerate growth within the Biosurgery platform
- The motivation and ability to ‘think outside the box’ to grow your business in a highly competitive and challenging marketplace
- Experience in converting competitive accounts
- The ability to maximise tender/contract opportunities
- The ability to contribute to a strong team environment, with demonstrated collaborative skills
