The District Manager (DM) will manage a team of field based specialty sales representatives who plan and execute Janssen Biotech's sales strategies for breakthrough products in Oncology, Hematology and Urology.
The successful DM will demonstrate the ability to shape their business strategically while operating within an assigned budget. They must possess strong leadership skills and be able to pull-through region/district vision, create team culture, manage representative performance, develop & motivate people and teams, demonstrate core product's clinical attributes, forge valuable customer relationships, and achieve their sales quota. They will also need to collaborate with partners and work in the field with minimal supervision.

Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biologic/biotech, or medical sales experience, defined as selling FDA approved pharmaceutical or device product(s) to licensed healthcare professionals (i.e. MD, NP, RN, etc). Two years of management/supervisory experience is preferred. Demonstrated leadership skills/abilities are required. Completion of a J&J Management Development Program (Field Development Program, DM Prep Program) or prior management experience required in lieu of FLDP or DMPP is preferred. Large account management experience is highly preferred along with the ability to create and execute strategic business plans. Candidate must have the ability to travel 30-40% of the time. All candidates must have a valid driver's license issued in one of the 50 States along with a clean driving record and must be willing to travel as needed or required, depending on the geography. Candidates must satisfy reasonable credentialing requirements, including, but not limited to TB tests, Hepatitis B vaccine, MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) and Varicella (chicken pox). Candidates are required to submit to annual background checks by Janssen Biotech, Inc.
