SCOPE OF THE ROLE AND BASIC PURPOSE
The Senior Project Manager, AP Rapid Response Team leads projects focused on the rapid elimination of unplanned impediments and disruptions to normal operations, such that significant impacts to customer service are avoided or minimized. The project manager leads remediation activities across the organization, including risk identification, risk management, problem solving and rapid deployment of resources using standardized best practice tools and processes. The project manager will manage the cross functional crisis teams assigned to disruption risks/events, which may include representation from Manufacturing, Franchise, QA, R&D, SMP, Global Engineering, Global Strategic Planning, SC Planning or CLS.
Key responsibilities include:

Effectively assess risk and triage issues for severity, prevalence, potential impact and required project resource, based on strong business knowledge, technical skills and sound judgment.

Lead projects and manage cross functional teams focused on the rapid remediation of critical service risks or events, ensuring crisis plan & success criteria are clearly defined and aligned with key stakeholders.

Rapidly develop an in-depth understanding of the specific supply chain and associated technologies for assigned remediation projects to ensure sound decision making and rapid resumption of normal operations and supply, avoiding or reducing unnecessary customer service (UFR) impacts.

Ensure that communication occurs in a timely manner, escalate delays, resource gaps, and risks and drive stakeholder alignment across multiple levels.

Utilize Project Management dashboards, project metrics, lessons learned and other tools to improve long term customer service.

Institutionalize process improvements and lessons learned resulting from assigned projects, to continuously improve AP Rapid Response tools, processes, capabilities and customer focus in all elements of end-to-end supply.

Develop effective relationships with counterpart organizations in other regions.

Assist with ongoing deployment of enhanced tools and processes to ensure a collaborative supporting infrastructure throughout the AP region.

Acquire and analyse data from AP risks/events and our management of them to identify opportunities for improvement and focus areas for risk prevention. Participate in broader initiatives associated with Supply Chain Risk Management.
Qualifications
Required Competencies and Skills:
· A Bachelors Degree is required, MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
· Minimum of 9 years combined experience in Engineering, R&D, Sales, Planning, Finance, Marketing or Supply Chain Operations functions. Minimum of 3 years of Project Management experience.
· Entrepreneurial self-starter, results oriented and able to independently create and deliver.
· Strong oral and written communication skills, and with the ability to partner, communicate and influence across functional levels.
