Lead one of two teams (one direct report) within German FP&A department and assume overall responsibility for:
Own Shared Service (ShS) Controlling cycle for assigned ShS Functions
Areas within the span of control are:
- Anticipate upsides and downsides in Shared Service Budgets
- Provide analytical insight to key stakeholders
- Businesspartnering with budget owners and stakeholders
- Own planning cycles
- Planning & Forecasting
- Month end Closing & Forecasting
- Shared Service Allocations
Contribute to the roll out of the planning & Budget vs. Actual cycle
Areas within the span of control are:
- Drive all submissions: Corporate consolidation system, local/regional Essbase BI system
- Anticipate upsides and downsides on the PnL of Johnson &Johnson Medical GmbH
- Planning & Forecasting
- Month end Closing & Forecasting
- Contribute to the development of Germany finance management cycle
- Other ad-hoc projects/assignments
Controlling Indirect Procurement
Areas within the span of control are:
- Evaluation of Improvement Projects
- Partnering in Procurement Projects
- Business Partnering IPG&IPE (Spend Analysis)
- Planning & Forecasting
- Month end Closing & Forecasting
Assume Ownership for German data in BI System ‘Essbase DACH’
Areas within the span of control are:
- Key user for Essbase system in Germany
- Load and validate Actual data
- Consolidate and validate Plan data
- Maintain Costcenter Hierarchy
Assignment and Planning of Work
- Timelines and Accuracy
- Accurate and timely execution of any task is mandatory.
- Compliance
- Ensure compliance (SOX, HCC) is part of every decision
- Ensure that proper SOX controls are in place
- CREDO
- Always act with CREDO values in mind
- Active participant in CREDO initiatives to improve Finance results
Qualifications
- Bachelor/Master degree in business/financial studies
- CPA/CMA or equivalent qualification is a plus
- 4+ years of financial experience
- Experience in managing complexity
- Knowledge of J&J / MD&D business preferred
- Fluency in English and second European language (German, French, Italian)
- Solid skills in Excel/Office and ERP systems (SAP ECC, SAP BW)
- Strong knowledge of JnJ systems (BRAVO, COGNOS, ESSBASE, SAP, JDE) preferred
- Sound analytical skills, ability to zoom in and out where required
- Big picture orientation with attention to detail
- Team player with the ability to partner with diverse stakeholder profiles
