The Global Surgery Group, a member of the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies, is currently recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst, Worldwide Supply Chain Consolidations & Reporting. This position will be located in Somerville, NJ.
The Senior Financial Analyst reports into the Senior Finance Manager of Global Surgery Group Supply Chain Consolidations. This role will provide financial leadership for consolidations and reporting of the Global Surgery Group which has the largest manufacturing footprint in MD&D Supply Chain with over 40 manufacturing sites and sourcing companies. The individual will consolidate, frame and deliver forecast updates and financial results to senior management, as well as provide financial analytics for business partners, operations finance and financial reporting. They will partner closely with Supply Chain and the franchise financial reporting to ensure clear communication and alignment. This position will be a member of the MD&D Supply Chain Finance Team.
The Senior Financial Analyst will provide mainly financial support and analysis of the Advanced Sterilization Products Business Unit within the Global Surgery Group including monthly and quarterly reporting, business planning, strategic planning, and Worldwide Gross Profit Analysis. This person will hold responsibility for analyzing and reporting business operating results to Supply Chain and Finance Management. This is a high visibility role with significant opportunities to present to management including Supply Chain Finance, Commercial Finance and Supply Chain business leaders. The individual will be the primary contact for Supply Chain financial performance, leading consolidation and reporting of WW Supply Chain financial results and metrics, and will collaborate with global organization to consolidate, analyze and report Supply Chain financial metrics to Supply Chain and Finance Management. There will be a great deal of opportunity for involvement in cross-franchise and cross-functional projects.
The individual will provide accurate, timely, and meaningful financial analysis to influence business decisions, provide analysis to business partners, including: business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reconciliation, and participate on cross-functional work teams. Attention to detail and ability to link financial results to business strategy and trends are needed. Adaptability to various business partners goals and strategic objective, as well as the ability to translate how businesses decisions impact the P&L and balance sheets are needed. They will work independently to drive partners toward financial goals and positive business outcomes.
Qualifications
A minimum of a BS/BA degree is required, preferably within the area of Finance, Accounting or Economics. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred. A minimum of 3 years of relevant financial experience is required. Experience with Cost Accounting or Supply Chain is a nice to have. Prior experience supporting upper level management is preferred. A Finance Certification (CPA, CMA or equivalent) is preferred. Must possess big picture orientation with attention to detail. The individual will need to be results and performance driven. Collaboration and teaming as well as strategic thinking skills are required. Self-awareness and adaptability is needed. A high proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required. Prior SAP or Lynx experience is strongly preferred.
