As a critical member of the Supplier Management Centre of Excellence, the key focus of this role will be to enhance supplier performance with existing or new vendors. Key categories include but are not limited to Marketing, Facility Management, Consulting and Professional Services, Supply Chain, Meeting Services, Travel and Fleet.
The candidate must work collaboratively to build strong relationships between and with strategic partners and key stakeholders within the business. Duties include conducting supplier performance evaluations, risk assessments, developing and conducting customer surveys, ensuring performance to contractual obligations, and maintaining contract and vendor records.
This role is also responsible for category spend and compliance reporting, tracking of all savings initiatives, and will facilitate the utilization of the Ariba Procurement System for all RFI and RFP activity.
Major Responsibilities:
Supplier Management & Operations
Primary responsibility to measure and evaluate key performance criteria including SLA, Financial, and Innovation Metrics,
Co-Lead supplier management process, throughout the life of the contract ensuring supplier compliance/performance meets expectations
Performance Issue/Dispute Resolution
Support and facilitate Quarterly Business Reviews
Provide commentary on supplier performance to senior stakeholders
Prepare quarterly scorecard reports for senior management
Perform ongoing Risk assessments as well as Voice of Customer Surveys
Develop and maintain refined Supplier dashboards
Contract Administration / Reporting New Supplier Approvals
Reporting & Analytics
Tracking and reporting cost savings based on established guidelines
Responsible for Procurement Dashboard
Assisting with RPF process and contract negotiations by closely working with external suppliers and internal stakeholders
Facilitate RFI and RFP activity thru Ariba
Qualifications
Requirements:
Relevant knowledge and experience
Minimum 5 yrs experience in Procurement, preferable in a Supplier Management Role
Demonstrated performance in managing formal supplier management programs a significant asset
Strong business acumen and analytical skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong Client Focus,
Ability to quickly build trust with internal business partners is a must
Able to prioritize work efforts to ensure key deliverable are met
Commitment to providing a high level of customer service & continuous improvement
J & J Operational Experience an asset
Conflict resolution and problem solving skills
Strong relationship management expertise and strengthening of business relationship both internally and externally
Strong knowledge of Excel, including Pivot Tales and Macros is required
Technical competency requirements:
Successful completion of a University degree or College diploma is required; a degree or diploma in business or supply chain management preferred
