The Manager of Distribution Quality and Compliance is responsible for the oversight and execution of Quality Management Systems and Compliance at the Tobyhanna, PA Distribution Center. Serves as single point of contact to internal and external partners on Distribution Quality related matters and liaise with multiple Quality organizations to drive timely resolution of Quality related issues. Identifies opportunities to continuously improve quality, cost and time factors, consistent with both Sector and CLS business objectives. Identifies significant business issues, prioritize for action, and lead improvement opportunities and problem solutions. Plans, coordinates, and manages quality assurance programs designed to ensure effective and consistent processes with established standards by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.
Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in an Engineering, Life Science, Technical scientific or related discipline. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a highly regulated industry is required. Preferred but not required QA/QC or Operations experience in the Medical Device, Pharmaceutical or Consumer products industry and experience with regulatory inspections. Strong knowledge of FDA 21 CFR Part 210, 211 and 820 and ERP systems are preferred. Strong communication, teamwork, problem solving, decision-making, and root cause analysis skills are required. Six Sigma, Lean, 5S or ASQ Certification and trainings are an asset. This position is based in Somerset, NJ and will require up to 15% travel.
