Responsibilities:
The IT Manager will play an integral role in defining, shaping and implementing IT solutions that enable and advance JHI programs designed to improve patient outcomes and achieve JHI’s vision and mission. Primary efforts will be focused on advancing and deploying the platforms enabling the JHI Integrated Care Business across multiple therapeutic areas. This role will partner with JHI business and IT functional partners, key strategic vendors, and external customers to ensure IT solutions and processes meet both strategic and tactical business goals.
Specific responsibilities include
- Business Analysis & Solutions Delivery: Maintain business domain process expertise and partnerships. Identify and align technology solutions and lifecycle plans to business requirements. Champion holistic end user experiences and ensure SLA driven performance design is executed.
- Project Delivery & Implementation: Evaluate platform and customer site implementation requirements. Establish deployment plans and ensure that technology platforms are successfully configured and implemented. Ensure customer site integration and computing capabilities are met. Ensure post-live support services are effective.
- Quality Compliance: Ensure quality processes are established and warrant that J&J and customer information assets are protected by complying with and enforcing all local and worldwide quality, data privacy, and security policies.
- Solutions Design and Architecture: advance and manage the solutions architecture in support of the JHI portfolio. Ensure that an integrated framework exists to meet current and future state needs. Partner with internal external partners to enhance and leverage the architecture.
- Innovation, Partnering, & Strategy: Provide thought leadership on applying information technology to drive value based transformation for our business. Establish & advance internal and external partnerships to optimize solutions vision, design, development, and delivery. Support the advancement of the IT strategy for JHI.
- Consistently demonstrate knowledge seeking and sharing behaviors across organizational boundaries. Apply principles, concepts, and practices of the Johnson & Johnson Global Leadership Profile for the IT Manager Level
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required. Business experience is required. Strong organisation and results orientation skills and proven track record in executing complex projects from start to finish required. IT industry experience including technical project management, business analysis, and solutions architecture is required. Health/Hospital systems experience is preferred.
- Ability to demonstrate a broad understanding of the healthcare space, with an emphasis on healthcare technology required. Must be passionate in taking on non-conventional approaches to and have a demonstrated track record of delivering innovative solutions to unique business needs.
- Experience developing IT strategies and process capabilities for business units. Experience implementing customer facing technology solutions. Strong presence and ability to align and influence a broad set of diverse internal and external stakeholders required. Works effectively in highly matrixed organization and is highly capable of dealing with ambiguity.
- Ability to develop successful working relationships with diverse businesses and regional cultures and working successfully with all organizational levels is required.
- Up to 35% travel required. Ability to work at customer based sites to support implementations.
