Noramco, Inc. produces a variety of active pharmaceutical ingredients and is a major worldwide producer of medicinal analgesics.

The API Noramco platform planning team is responsible to translate the netted demand into a balanced plan which can be executed by their API plants aligned with the service and inventory targets. They are responsible for the end to end (e2e) Narcotics supply chain which includes the Athens GA, Wilmington DE, and Tasmania AU manufacturing and distribution sites and the following processes: Production Planning, Scheduling, and Materials Requirements Planning. Product Management is Janssen Supply Chain's engine for New Product Launch, Value Stream Management, Global Planning, New Business Opportunities, Strategic Capacity Planning, Design-to-Value and Portfolio Management.

The Senior Manager Trade Narcotics Planning has overall accountability of the e2e Narcotics Supply Chain and is responsible for Supply Planning which includes preparing general production and material planning data, SAP master data and creating a creating a constrained production plan, using an Advanced planning system, (APS) . This individual will prepare for and hold supply review meetings (SRM) and/or Sales & Operations Planning meetings (S&OP) and manage Short Term exception process (STEM). In addition, this individual will transition/align constrained plan to detailed schedule. The Senior Manager Trade Narcotics Planning, API Platform Planning will ensure alignment of capacity and quota assumptions with manufacturing, internal drug enforcement resources and Quality Services for scheduling purposes. This individual will be responsible for the creation of detailed schedule using SAP and aligning that schedule and resolving near term production issues with involved parties. The Senior Manager Trade Narcotics Planning, API Platform Planning ensures that materials inventory parameters are set and material requirements are consolidated. Other accountabilities include order placement , forecasts to external suppliers, blanket orders and Kan Ban replenishment signal agreements, internal plant to plant PO’s and external 3rd party USA milling PO’s, material receipt and release and resolve of Accounts payable issues, and supplier reliability.

The Senior Manager Trade Narcotics Planning, API Platform Planning will be responsible for the coordination of Development, Maintenance, Communication and Publication of the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to ensure that Patient / Customer Requirements are met and the best E2E Supply Chain Configuration is in place to ensure Efficient and Effective use of Manufacturing Operations. This individual will align internal and external supply to consensus demand for short, medium and long term horizons. In collaboration with the E2E Planning Lead, this individual will implement Replenishment Strategies and Supply Chain Parameters, to optimize global end-to-end Supply Chain and/or Commercial processes and interdependencies. The Senior Manager Trade Narcotics Planning, API Platform Planning will maintain Raw Materials, Operating Supplies, Intermediates and Finished Goods Inventories within goal, while minimizing excess, obsolete and expired materials. Contribute to the inventory targets within the global planning group. This individual will lead the Supply Review Meetings at a Site or Platform level and coordinate required communication into criticalities. In addition, this individual will lead the weekly Short Term Exception Management (STEM) Process at a Site Level. The Senior Manager Trade Narcotics Planning, API Platform Planning will further develop and implement efficient and effective Global Planning Processes and Systems and take ownership for Planning Tools (APS,APO etc) for constrained plan visualization. This individual will contribute and lead Site Management Operational and Strategic Initiatives while supporting the preparation and execution of Business Plans and Spend Budgets. This individual will lead Team(s) of MPS Planners, MRP Planners and Detailed Schedulers across different sites and Ensure Department and Personnel Goals and Objectives are completed in a Timely Manner. The Senior Manager Trade Narcotics Planning, API Platform Planning will ensure compliance with environment health and safety, good manufacturing practices and business compliance policies, collaborate with Janssen Supply Chain S&OP lead to further develop and run the S&OP process for WWNF and support the long term capacity planning process. This individual will partner and collaborate with World Wide Narcotics franchise, (WWNF) and the Narcotics Value Stream leader, (VSL) to understand, assess and respond to the market needs with the appropriate level of focus, priority and resource. In addition, this individual will partner and take responsibility with Tasmania Alkaloids in monthly reviews to ensure narcotics raw material supply is fully aligned with US and 3rd party plans. The Senior Manager Trade Narcotics Planning, API Platform Planning will ensure the Tasmania MPS process and inventory projections are accurate, complete and on time. This includes being involved and fully aligned with crop planting volumes currently owned by WWNF. In addition, this individual will cover all Global Planning organization process meetings, communication, initiatives for the Noramco planning organization.

Qualifications


A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required. Advanced degree is preferred. APICS (American Production and Inventory Control Society) certification is a plus. A minimum of 8 years relevant experience in Planning, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and/or Logistics is required. A minimum of 3 years of people management and development is required. Experience in the Health Care or related industry is strongly preferred. Experience in the Narcotics Controlled Substance industry is preferred. Experience working with Global teams is preferred. An understanding of ERP or Advanced Planning systems is required. Experience with SAP is preferred.

Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to identify appropriate methods to collect and analyze a diverse set of data and understand supply chain issues to develop appropriate solutions based on the findings. Excellent communication and presentation skills are required. Strength in interdependent partnering, team management and the ability to collaborate effectively to achieve performance management is required. The ability to organize and direct resources to address urgent business issues which may impact or include customer, production, or disaster situations and develop mitigation plans to reduce Supply Chain risks is required. The ability to manage multiple initiatives and work in a matrix environment where priorities change rapidly and tight deadlines exist is required. The ability to demonstrate sensitivity to diverse cultural and business nuances, and manage the impact of the global business environment in the global J&J organization

This position will require up to 25% travel and will be based in Wilmington, DE.
