Description
The IT Applications Services Supply Chain organization is seeking an IT Manager within their Make Team. This person will be providing ERP platform support for the Make processes for the J&J organizations in the region Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA). He/she will be responsible for support, enhancements, smaller projects and/or components of larger projects but the emphasis is primarily on support.
The person takes in the functional specifications and co-ordinates the technical design, developments, testing, cut-over activities, implementation and support in the PP-PI, QM and/or WM modules primarily.
The business includes Pharma Operations.
Your Responsibilities
- Deliver support and enhancements in the Make area
- Analyze business issues, balancing the often competing needs for innovation and standardization/process harmonization, to develop/propose solutions.
Ensure high quality and cost efficient SAP application support, according to Service Level Agreements agreed with business. Take a leading role (within area of expertise) in projects.
- Lead onshore and offshore teams of functional support consultants across multiple platforms (level 2 and 3), including resource planning and weekly follow up meetings with the teams.
Escalate timely functional, technical and resource issues.
- Review and accept functional specifications and review of technical designs created in the PP-PI, QM and/or WM module
- Manage and control the implementation of changes. Ensure that these changes do not disrupt existing functionality on these productive clients.
- Be the key technical advisor to project teams.
- Create accurate estimations for enhancements and projects in the Make area. Create detailed project plan and deliver project according to project plan, on time and within budget. Execute all project activities according to SDLC methodology, to assure a firm delivery of security and audit requirements.
Qualifications
Qualifications & experiences :
- You have a B.A. /B.S. degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Economics or other related field; an advanced degree is desirable.
- +8 years of IT experience in a corporate environment supporting SAP projects is required.
Additional competencies :
- Excellent knowledge of the SAP PP-PI, QM or WM modules.
- Experience in reviewing functional specifications, co-ordinating technical design and developments in the PP-PI, QM or WM space in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of PM (plant maintenance) is a plus
- Proven project Management skills
- Motivating teamleader
- Analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and a fluent knowledge of English.
- Team player.
- Result driven.
- Flexibility in working hours is required (occasional over-time or weekend work).
- Project related travel may be required (less than 25%)
- Agree to be standby in case of critical manufacturing issues
