Key responsibilities:
Manage the entire product portfolio to meet or exceed sales & profitability forecast targets.
Design and execute marketing strategies, branding campaigns, and new product launches.
Lead Business Planning and Strategic Planning.
Provide strategic leadership to the sales team to ensure continued strong market position.
Work closely with sales team to ensure effective execution of marketing plans. Identify trainings needs, and conduct product & brand messaging trainings for sales team.
Maintain active field involvement by regularly visiting customers.
Establish strong relationships with Canadian key opinion leader physicians, and other health care professionals.
Develop and manage marketing budget.
Develop and execute awareness / PR campaigns. Also, develop collaborative relationships with patient advocacy groups.
Identify and analyze segments of the market offering unique and profitable growth opportunities.
Develop strong relationships with international colleagues to leverage best practices.
Represent Biosense Webster, Canada on key business teams, both locally and internationally.
Attend Electrophysiology conferences, both local and international.
Train sales team on latest clinical data in a timely and effective manner.
Lead convention planning for local congresses.
Work closely with supply chain, finance, regulatory departments to ensure effective business management on all fronts.
Identify collaboration opportunities with other Cordis/JJMP business units.
Direct responsibility of leading and developing a team of 3 or more people including Associate Product Manager, Ultrasound Clinical Specialist, and Field Service Engineer.
Qualifications
University Degree in business, statistics or health sciences
At least 4-plus years of sales & marketing experience, including strong brand marketing experience
Some people/team management experience with proven leadership, coaching and mentoring skills
Knowledge of Health Care industry required. Some background experience in Electrophysiology will be an asset.
Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills, and demonstrated leadership
Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills; especially, should be comfortable understanding complex clinical and technical information
A demonstrated self-starter who takes initiative.
Ability to effectively manage complexity and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong collaboration skills to effectively lead in a matrixed cross-functional team environment.
Bilingual (French/English) an asset
Should be able to travel 30% to 50% of the time
