Job Responsibilities
Responsible for managing Lifescan distributor in HK and maintain customer relationship with KOLs, chain stores and established specialty accounts to achieve sales objectives and greater market penetration.
The Business Development Manager will work with NA Lifescan marketing team, local CLS, Supply Chain, QA/RA, and Accounting/Finance departments in order to manage the day-to-day Lifescan business and ensure the highest level of sales in Hong Kong:
- Ensure distributor is maximizing their time and effort to promote, sell and support Lifescan products in order to reach established targets
- Ensure distributor sales personnel are trained to equip the knowledge and in proper use marketing materials to effectively promote Lifescan products.
- Manages the development and servicing of specialty accounts to achieve business sales.
- Reports sales results against forecasts to senior management as well as any adjustments made to business plans to ensure objectives are met.
- Reviews and aligns distributor A&P budget.
- Participates in the preparation of sales plans and campaigns, business plans and product development plans.
- Ensure compliance to meet JJ HCC requirements.
- Access the strategy and related risks of the change.
- Provide a weekly and monthly report of sales activities to evaluate performance
Qualifications
Ideal Candidate (Qualifications, Experience, Competencies)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science is preferred
- At least 10 years sales experience in healthcare sectors
- Experienced retailer, distributor and chain store management skills
- Proven track record in executing and delivering results
- Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint
