The Supplier Quality Analytics Engineer II will define, collect, analyze, and report on key Supplier Quality and Procurement metrics. This role will be responsible for defining and tracking metrics, providing quality assurance for metrics across multiple manufacturing sites, and developing/tracking mitigation plans for items requiring improvement. He/she will champion the metric consolidation, reporting and streamline the process across all DePuy Synthes sites. He/she will handle complex technical issues by utilizing problem solving tools and root cause analysis. The Supplier Quality Analytics Eng II will ensure comprehensive and repeatable metrics through the use of automated systems and IT solutions.

Qualifications


A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required. A Degree in Engineering, Life Science, or related discipline is preferred. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a highly regulated industry with a Bachelor’s degree is required OR a minimum of 1 year of experience in a highly regulated industry with an Advanced degree is required. Experience in the medical device, biotech and/or pharmaceutical industry is preferred. Both, FDA and ISO (International Organization for Standardization) regulations knowledge is required. FDA CFR Part 820 and/or ISO 13485 knowledge is preferred. Auditing background is preferred. Strong communication, teamwork, and problem solving skills are required. Strong root cause analysis skills are required. Six Sigma, Lean, or ASQ Certification and trainings are preferred. A working of knowledge of process mapping is required. Track wide range of complex system metrics, including information security material. Understand technical concepts and be able to convey material such that it is meaningful and easy to understand. Ability to identify key trends and properly contextualize materials is a requirement. Expert-level knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel skills required. Possess knowledge of statistical analysis tools (Minitab SAS preferred). Familiarity with various ERP systems, ETQ and Cognos reporting. Work well across technical and non-technical groups and be able to communicate at the executive level.

This position will be based in West Chester, PA, Zuchwil Switzerland, Warsaw IN, Raynham MA, Cork Ireland, or Leeds UK and will require up to 20% domestic and international travel.
