The Senior Director, Contract Management will be responsible for the daily management and strategic leadership of the contract management and administration function for the NA Pharm Strategic Customer Group (SCG), including the oversight of contract design, development, and development of contract strategy, activation and ongoing management of the contracts signed by the SCG organization and their customers. This individual will lead the team and be the process champion for the development of Master Contracts and Product Documents as well as collaborating with the Pricing group in the formation of pricing strategy, securing CPC approvals and customer negotiations when required. At this level, the position has a direct contribution to the development of business strategies and functional expertise to achieve business plan implementation objectives and results. The position oversees all technology related to contracting, reporting and tool development and is the key liaison with JJHCS and participates on the CCI Executive Governance Board. This position maintains close working relationships with SCG business partners, Legal, Compliance, NA Pharm Business Units, CSM and the Unrivaled Hospital Solutions group on contracting strategy, and enterprise level offerings.

The successful candidate will oversee a staff of 20 individuals responsible for the contract management and administration function across multiple locations, including performance metrics , business partner support on contracting issues, ensure appropriate resource levels, response time, accuracy and adherence to all compliance policies and SOPs. This individual will oversee staff responsible for deployment and implementation of contracting strategies aligned with company strategy executed by the SCG field teams. He/she will oversee complex contracts and consults with customers and stakeholder to address concerns when required. This person will be accountable for the offer development process, develops implementation strategies and provides input to risks and implications to management via the CPC process. The role will oversee the review of complex contract changes requested by customers ensuring consistency with business practices. He/she will interact with stakeholders as needed to address any issues resulting from the changes. The incumbent will collaborate with other departments and establish processes for ensuring proper coordination of various types of agreements, subcontracts and other contract/legal documents. The individual supports internal and external inquiries and audits. The individual will establish and implement and maintain contract management policies and procedures, SOP’s and Work Instructions to compliantly support business objectives. He/she will establish and manage department budget.

Qualifications


A minimum of a BA/BS is required. A MBA is preferred. A minimum of 10 years related work experience is required, with a preference in contracting or finance. The position requires broad based business acumen. Mastery of contract development, implementation, and management of Healthcare contracts with various health care channels is preferred. Experience in the development and implementation of contracting and pricing strategies to achieve desired results is preferred. Strong results and customer service orientation is required. Advance written & verbal communication skills are required. Mastery in the development and application of legal terms and conditions is preferred. Expertise in contract technology development and utilization is preferred. Organizational expertise in people management, development and matrix management across multiple levels of the organization is required. Strong business acumen, analytical and project management skills is required. The ability to interact and lead at various levels within an organization is required. The ability to influence and lead executives, key business partners, and customers is required.

This role can be located in Titusville NJ, Horsham PA, or Raritan NJ and will required up to 30% travel.
