Description
- Collaborate with Business partners and IT partners to shape regional and market specific Warehouse and Distribution requirements in to investment projects and plan for flawless implementation
- Plan and manage resources required for the projects and effectively manage them within agreed performance metrics and reporting them timely
- Lead projects and other initiatives to ensure compliance to Company’s policies and standards
- Be an IT SME in the Warehouse & Distribution domain to drive design consistency and process standardization. To provide expert advice and suggestions to fix production system support issues
- Develop and provide advanced solutions and design to meet changing business needs
- Develop the extended team to achieve excellence in the design and deployment of system solutions fully compliant to quality standards
GENERAL RESPONSIBLITIES
1. Participate in the SC IT portfolio management for prioritization
- Work with Key Stakeholders to understand business requirements
- Understand the organization OGSM and market priorities to align with project portfolio
- Plan, Manage and Monitor Portfolio to ensure the successful execution of a scoped projects on time, on budget with the right resourcing that meet or exceed stakeholder expectations
2. Manage accountabilities in Warehousing and Distribution processes.
- Collaborate with SC BPO Team and other partners to define projects and align project priorities in W&D area and to shape the demand
- Manage resources as required for planning and project executions
- Provide Oversight on all W&D projects or cross functional projects assigned
- Manage project deliverables as required of JnJ policies and to ensure timeliness, accuracy and completeness of the documentation
- Develop strategies for W&D using technology to enable JnJ to function more efficiently and effectively
- Be the guardian and gatekeeper of JnJ IT W&D Processes
- Develop and provide advanced solutions and design to meet changing business needs
3. Execution of W&D Initiatives and Projects
- Ensure that all project requirements are delivered timely.
- Manage and monitor project execution
- Provide project updates to stakeholders on a periodic basis
- Ensure the project is execute in a manner compliant to JnJ requirements (SDLC,SoX, GxP testing, etc)
- Ensure support is provided from cross functional team.
- Ensure smooth Knowledge Transfer to production support team
4. Monitor Production Support in W&D process
- Provide inputs and feedback SAP ERP pipeline changes in W&D area to deliver Domain lead for review and change approvals
- Support issues that require deeper analysis for resolution
- Review production issue logs if any logs should be converted to projects
- Serves as Center of Expertise on W&D matters
5. Develop good team environment for successful delivery of projects
- Actively communicate with team member(s) for better understanding of the on-going project status
- Follow up on any issues encountered in course of project delivery
- Enhance “Our Credo” as a principal guidance of the team
Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Minimum Bachelor degree but a post graduate degree would be advantageous
- Over 8 years of experience in Internal IT department in FMCG, OTC or related industries
- At least 3 years in a management position supervising a team as a project manager or line manager
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Project Management (eg. PMP)
- SAP: SD, LE, IM and WM
- Working knowledge in Good manufacturing Practices and Good Distribution Practices (GmP, GDP) for Pharmaceutical industry
- Inbound and outbound Interfaces to external systems (EDI, Idocs, webMethods)
- Working knowledge SAP: ABAP, SAPscript, Security
- Good communication and writing skills
- Ability to speak Asian language advantageous (eg.Korean,Mandarin,Hindi,etc)
- Able to multi-task with minimal supervision
- Enthusiastic, flexible and able to work under pressure with analytical and problem solving skills; have a positive “can-do” attitude
- Team orientation - a team player who values team work
- Mobility - willing and able to travel within Asia Pacific as required
