JOB DESCRIPTION
Johnson & Johnson Inc. is actively seeking to recruit a Senior Analyst, Metrics & Analytics for a Procurement Shared Services role within Enterprise Procurement Operations. The Senior Analyst will report directly to the Manager of Analytics and will support Procurement with the delivery of metrics and analytics strategies worldwide. The position will be located in the Johnson & Johnson GFS Shared Services center in Manila, Philippines.
This dynamic position will focus on translating spend data into insights that will drive business strategies for procurement. The position will have the opportunity to develop and lead initiatives in the ASPAC region and will serve as a liaison to regional stakeholders. In partnership with the Manager of Analytics and peers, the Senior Analyst will support the Metrics & Analytics team in the portfolio of ongoing supportive duties including, but not limited to: (i) Spend data management and analyses to identify trends/insights; (ii) Development and maintenance of analytics and metrics reporting capabilities provided for the different regions, procurement sectors and categories within the organization (Analytics Service offerings); (iii) Ad-Hoc analytical and metrics reporting, custom dashboards and presentations for Procurement stakeholders, and; (iv) continual analytical improvement by implementing cutting-edge analytical solutions.
The Senior Analyst will have the unique and challenging opportunity to be part of a critical initiative that will shape the future of our business particularly as Enterprise Procurement Operations transforms to Procurement Shared Services as part of Enterprise Standards and Productivity (ES&P) Initiatives. The ES&P initiatives call out to leverage capabilities consistently and enterprise-wide. The overall mission of Procurement Shared Services is to enable J&J employees, the Procurement function, various business units and the 100,000+ suppliers that work for J&J, through business process and technology transformations that drive disproportionate value for the patients and consumers. The organization is also at the center of the Procurement function's and business units digitization efforts across the globe and business units.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Support stakeholders through the strategic use of data and analytics. Specifically, assembles, cleans, manages and provides analytics for large spend and savings datasets to derive procurement insights that ensure category and sector procurement strategies are grounded in fact.

Summarize datasets through novel data mining exploration, identification and troubleshooting of data anomalies and building analytical forecasting models all to derive insights through cutting edge visualization techniques.

Report on existing key metrics to measure Procurement performance and developing dashboards for data visualization. Identify and develop new key metrics to measure procurement performance and developing dashboards for data visualization.

Collect and report out the data pertaining to global/regional spend, Diverse Spend, Savings, Supplier Enabled Innovation, Shaping the Supply Base (supplier optimization) and any other metrics that drive Procurement performance.

Improve data collection and distribution processes while enhancing reporting capabilities to provide clear line of sight into key performance trends and metrics.

Work with Finance to link Spend data to individual budgets.

Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT AND OTHER SKILLS REQUIRED

A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (Statistics, Economics, Finance, Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or related fields) is required. Applicants with advanced degrees (ex. MBA) is desirable but not required.

A minimum of 5 years of progressive work experience required with a minimum of 2 years in an analytics or related role is required.

Project Management skills required in order to be able to handle multiple projects with simultaneous priorities and still meet deadlines. Demonstrated success in leading projects is required.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy of reported information. Ability to quickly merge and summarize data/information from multiple sources, including experience in data management, cleaning, data analysis and report writing.

Self-motivated, positive thinker, detail-oriented personality and a collaborative spirit

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer skills is required. Advanced use of Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, lookup procedures and complex formulas with nested logic) is required.

Experience in the use of various analytical tools and techniques (SAS, SQL, statistical modeling) including advanced visualization or data management software (Tableau, Qlik, Cognos etc.) is preferred

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including expertise in presenting quantitative models and concepts to a non-quantitative audience in order to develop actionable recommendations and solutions to business issues. This includes communicating recommendations concisely and persuasively to influence stakeholders and business decisions.

Customer focused and experience working in a shared service environment is a plus

Knowledge of Procurement systems and P2P processes (e.x. ARIBA Buyer, ARIBA Spend Management, VIEWS, VISION, eICD, SAP/Lynx, Cognos & other ERP systems) is a plus
