McNeil Consumer Healthcare Division of McNeil-PPC, Inc. is currently recruiting a Human Resources Manager to be located in Ft. Washington, PA. McNeil Consumer Healthcare markets a broad range of over-the-counter products, including TYLENOL® acetaminophen products; BENADRYL®, ZYRTEC® and ZYRTEC®-D allergy medicines; IMODIUM® A-D anti-diarrheal; MOTRIN® IB; and SUDAFED® and SUDAFED PE® nasal decongestants.
The HR Manager will establish Human Resources strategy and implement organization and people related solutions to support the short and long term business goals for the Technical Operations & Packaging and Planning Groups. The incumbent will provide leadership and drive the execution of the HR programs and practices, develop strategy and provide expertise and effective implementation of initiatives related to organizational design & culture, employee engagement, change management, talent management, workforce planning and performance management. The incumbent will be part of the NA OTC HR Leadership team and the Technical Operations & Packaging and Planning Leadership Teams.
The HR Manager will: Lead the design and implementation of organizational design and strategies to improve individual and organizational performance. Provide coaching to Business Leaders to effectively lead HR processes, operations and systems. Provide coaching and support to stakeholders on specific functional areas to facilitate the creation of value through people. Implement Talent Management initiatives to attract, retain and develop key talent. Provide expertise and facilitate succession planning and career planning processes. Provide guidance on Performance Management related activities including education and guidance to Business Leaders to foster an engaging and productive work environment. Evaluate short and long term staffing needs through workforce planning and provide recommendations to Business Leaders.
The HR Manager will also: Partner with the recruiting specialist group to attract key talent in a timely matter. Design and implement initiatives to foster an engaged and involved workforce. Support activities related with Credo and Engagement Surveys administration. Partner with Business Leaders and Specialist Groups (as needed) to manage day to day employee relations cases, including: investigations, disciplinary actions, performance improvement processes and separations. Respond, investigate and maintains proper documentation on employee relation issues such as harassment allegations, and any other type of complaint following J&J's procedures and applicable legislation. Assure EEO/AAP goal attainments and ensures full compliance with labor laws, EEO Laws / regulations, HR policies and procedures.
Under limited supervision and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations, the Companies' policies, procedures and guidelines, this position will be responsible to ensure quality and compliance in all actions by attending GMP training on the schedule designated for this role and as appropriate for this role. This position must adhere to strict compliance with procedures applicable to this role; must exercise the highest level of integrity in all the tasks performed; in a timely and prompt manner, identify, report and seek correction for deviations noted in the workplace and will embrace a behavior of employee involvement and commitment to doing the job right the first time.

Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Science, Psychology or another related field is required. A Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Psychology, Education, Organizational Design or Human Resources is preferred. A minimum of six years of human resource management experience is required. Experience in HR processes including recruitment, talent development, culture / change management, restructurings and employee relations are required. Experience in culture planning, change management and transformation is required. Hands-on experience in understanding, administering, and implementing Local and Federal Labor Laws and regulations is required.
Cross functional experience in the healthcare industry is highly desirable. Experience in Supply Chain Human Resources is preferred. Six Sigma knowledge, application and certification (Black Belt, Green Belt) are desirable. Organizational Design and Implementation of Organization Design experience is highly preferred. Previous experience working with the Planning organization is highly preferred. Familiarity with Project Management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle is a plus. Effective communication skills with employees at all levels of the organization is required.
This position is located in Ft. Washington, PA and may require up to 15% travel.
